“If he was a moderate king, he was a narrow ally of Western”, and wahabbism and his spread for the world what?, the massive building of wahabbies and radical mosques. And the challenges to France and US in the researches of the terrorist acts and the drug prince in France.
The mass media and goverment are very hipocritycal.
And the freedom religion and speech there, Isn´t it important?
I was very angered for having there in Spain the summers, now I won´t have, thank to God.

Hi Franze. I do not understand ‘narrow’ ally.

It seems that King Fahd of Saudi Arabia died this morning (1 August 2005). Do you have a link to information or opinion on King Fahd’s contributions? Even if the information is in Spanish, let me have it and I will run it through Babel Fish and then adjust for clarity. Thanks. Ani.

Narrow ally: Estrecho aliado o aliado cercano.
King Fahd( in spanish)
King Fahd( in english)

So King Fahd’s half-brother Crown Prince Abdullah (80 years old) succeeded him immediately. I gather that Abdullah has been really running the country for a decade since King Fahd had a stroke. Abdullah instituted some reforms: elections for local officials and crackdowns on Al Qu’eda. Al Qu’eda have heaped deprecations on King Fahd.

I gather that the main questions now are:
  1. will there be a future power struggle for kingship? Abdullah is 80 years old and all the other brothers are over 70. Kings will likely have to replaced every few years. And so…
  2. will Al Qu’eda escalate its bid for a Caliphate?
Here is a summary of the succession crisis.

Does anybody else have any analysis or news on what to expect from the Arabian peninsular in the next wee while?

Franze: the Saudi kings will die quickly. They are old. So Saudi Arabia will be instable. Al Qa’eda hates these kings anyway and wants to remove the infidels from the home of Muhammed. What do you think will happen?

My desire in the heart, a islamic republic, worlwide boycott, using other sources of energy and all foreign people and christian exiled from this “islamic paradise”
My desire in the head, it happens nothing, sad but true.

Do you want an islamic republic to prosper? Or do you want the boycott of oil to bring the islamic republic to its knees?

The islamic republic does not happen? Or the boycott does not happen?

What do you think Al Qu’eda will do in Saudi Arabia?

I think that the islamic republic or a caliphate will happen soon, too soon. And, in that time, western will have to boycott this kingdom of evil.

The islamic republic does not happen? Or the boycott does not happen?

Western will sell weapons to this kingdom to survive against the islamic republic and boycott, therefore, won´t happen.

What do you think Al Qu’eda will do in Saudi Arabia?

Trying to do a islamic republic, in that ideology, it would be a dream, for us, a nightmare.

How?

Prince Najef, who is the Interior minister and gobernator of Mutawa, that police, that allowed deathing to the girls, for not wearing the veil, in the internate burn o that torture christians, is plenty of people near to Al-Qaeda with the only difference that they don´t want that they removed the royal family that feeds them.
I don´t want that Saudi Arabia would be a islamic republic, but like I know that there aren´t any possibility for building a church or chuches there and catholics could evangelize there, I prefer a “health belt” " cordon sanitario", because if they want to live in a islamic paradise, live there, but without foreign investors, christian slaves like now, and all the radical muslims in Europe and Western, please live there in your paradise, but here no. NO!

Have you seen:
The tale of the alleged plot to assassinate the Saudi ruler and Alamoudi’s relationship with Libya is disclosed in documents filed in federal court, which show that Alamoudi received at least $910,000 from the Libyan government over several years.

muslimnews.co.uk/news/print_version.php?article=9625

U.S. Muslim activist broke Libya sanctions, aided murder plot

While lengthy it not only clearly establishes how widespread and byzantine the terrorist network is, but tracks the money and some of the players are ----- American. They aim to destabilize, eradicate the Saudi government and bring it down.
