Wow, my “ego”? Discussion is argument. If I’m not being reasonable, you can show me exactly where. I have supported my theses with facts. This has nothing to do with “my ego”, which you would recognize if you weren’t being presumptuous. But I guess that’s too much to ask.

I realize that it might be difficult for the modern mind to understand this, but people’s opinions and perceptions do not enjoy a privileged status free from all critique merely because they think them.

I am finished posting in this thread for fear that I am beginning to feed into this issue.

Of course you are, right after you give yourself the last word But that’s fine if you don’t want to participate, since I can save my words for those who are willing to read and reason rather than just ignore and react.

Agreed. I probably should never have said anything about it in the first place, but hopefully my last post #94 made it quite clear that I am done arguing.

God bless Pope Francis. Some of us here (myself included) can definitely learn from his humility.

Edit to add: To whom it may concern, please don’t bother trying to continue the argument by sending me a PM. I think I made myself quite clear in my last post.
