Why is belief in God so important to God? Can’t someone life their entire life without believing in God and still make this world a better place? Why is it so important that someone confess that they believe Jesus is God?

That is something I am wondering too. Vanity?

Why well if your asking those questions then you know nothing of Catholicism in the first place. But I will say something here. Jesus came here to change us and by believing in him and doing what he taught us we would become free and live eternal life. There it is summarized. Please any other Catholic feel free to add anything else.

Ever heard of giving things a try… the greatest minds were always misunderstood at first. The regular men of science (the majority) don’t believe in anything unless there is substantial provable evidence. The pioneers discovers things and make them scientific fact. Science is meant to be a tool, you are not meant to think like a tool.

Absolutely. What of it? I have no reason to give Christianity a try over say, Zoroastarianism?

And I how you define ‘give something a try’ in the case of Christianity? Just pretending to believe in it? That is ultimately would it would amount to.
