Pope is human.Orthodix says that pope is on of the big 5 big christian clerics but he is human.I think only God dont do mistakes.Orthodoxs say ne that catholics believe Madona is a female godness. Is is trye or false?
It sounds like you’ve been speaking with some uncharitable Orthodox members, but Catholics do not claim the Pope never makes mistakes and do not worship Mary as a god. The Orthodox make many of the same claims in regards to Mary, anyway (Mother of God, perpetually virgin, never sinned, Queen of Heaven and Earth). It sounds like old, unecumenical polemics (that is, when one side attacks the other in a false way. It’s been done on both sides…) Not all Orthodox argue like that.

There are differences in the areas you commented on, of course, but what you’ve heard is a complete misrepresentation of Catholic beliefs.

No.

We do not believe that the Blessed Mother is a goddess.

The Orthodox who tell you this are hugely mistaken.

I am a 20 year old who i was born muslim and now i am atheist.I want to learn more about christianism.I do this thread and in a forum who have Orthodox Christians. If i decide to be christian i want to decide what christian i must do.Catholic or Orthodox? And why?
Hello and welcome. I am a convert to Christianity from atheism. In regards to whether or not you are atheist or agnostic or whatever. I think the point is you no longer believe in God as Islam has taught you? Seeking to understand the faith of another that isn’t yours is pretty normal, in that case.

Seek Truth in prayer, even if you believe you are not heard or feel like a fool, talking to the air. It isn’t about what you feel but where God is calling you. And God is calling you. You are not forgotten. God is Love, and does love you, including, if not especially, in your unbelief.

23 Jesus said to him, “‘If you can!’ Everything is possible to one who has faith.”
24 Then the boy’s father cried out, “I do believe, help my unbelief!”

(Mark 9)

Considering you noted that they were neither Catholic nor Orthodox and I’m assuming you live in the Middle East, I’m guessing the Christians you talked to were Collyridians. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collyridianism) While they may view Mary as a goddess, Catholicism does not.

Mary is not a goddess. (God is the only god.) Mary is a saint. Saints are people that have died and are now in Heaven. In life Mary gave birth to Jesus. If you read the Bible, Mary was taken (both body and soul) into Heaven. Catholic Tradition honors her as the Queen of Heaven and as the greatest of saints because she never sinned. (That plus she is the mother of Jesus.)
Catholics believe those in Heaven can help those on earth by interceding (helping) or by praying. (Because the saints are in Heaven with God, they know how to pray better.) So because we believe saints can help us and Mary is the greatest of the saints, we honor her.

Yes this is the christians who meet and they think that Mary was female godness. They say me that Mary was Female Godnes bigger than holly spirit. They say me that the holy tgree are Father,Jesus Christ and Mary.Holly three hasnt got the holy spirit?

By Holy Tree (or Holy Three) (I’m not sure which you meant) I am guessing you mean the Holy Trinity. The Trinity is God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. At least that’s how most Christian branches teach it. (I don’t know how the Collyridians view it.)

I have never encountered anyone who claims to be Christian who claim that. Both Orthodox and Catholics consider Mary to be a highly graced and favored individual, but still only a human saint. The Christian Trinity is one God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is dogma in both Catholic and Orthodox Churches.

They arent orthodox or catholic christians. They are other christians…

If you are sincere in wanting to learn about Christ and his Church there are many books you can read and many questions you can ask us about our faith here on this thread.

Then you should pray everyday to the Holy Spirit for it to guide you where you should be. If you are truly sincere the Holy Spirit will indeed take you where you should be.

No one here has the power to guide you like the Holy Spirit.
