You are in my prayers that the Lord will bring you peace.

Prayer against Depression - by Saint Ignatius of Loyola
O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.

By Saint Ignatius of Loyola

O God, your Son accepted our sufferings to teach us the virtue of patience in human illness. Hear the prayers we offer for our sick brothers and sisters. May all who suffer pain, illness or disease realize that they are chosen to be saints, and know that they are joined to Christ in his suffering for the salvation of the world, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

With the help of God, your family, and doctors you will get through this in good time hopefully 👍. My best friend is going through a similar struggle but with anxiety. I hope your get well soon!

Lord, please bring Holly your light and peace.

Oh Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Amen!

Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, you endured decades and decades of total darkness and spiritual anguish. You also healed everyone who was in need. Please be with Holly in her time of need and bring her healing, grace, light and peace. Amen.

God bless you holly i hope that you are feeling better soon. When i am down i keep busy walk, swimming etc it does help me and i suffer bad and have very dark thoughts nearly every day but i pray and pray and keep busy. I hope that you too find a way of coping. I will pray for you. Love Trisha.

Holly,

Be assured of my prayers.

May God make his light and joy … continuously visible to you, through your family, friends, neighbors, and all in your community.

Blessings today and always,
Kathleen

Holly,

I too experience depression, mine is clinical. God be praised I’ve got meds that help me be functional all the time and on a scale of 0 (total yuk) to 10 (absolute bliss) I’m around a 7 on average but I have stretches of days at a time now and then when it dips below that, usually to 4 or 5. This past year the meds I had quit working as before and it took about six months to find the right combination to get back to what is my normal above. So I truly empathize with your struggle.

I had never seen this prayer below before someone else in this thread offered it, but I will echo it for your sake.

Also I ask the intercessions of Mary, Mother of our Lord and our Mother, Mother Theresa and all the angels and saints to pray for Holly too in concert with the prayer of Ignatius of Loyola, please for the greater glory of our Lord and the health, peace, and salvation of our sister in Christ, Holly. Amen.

Complete Trust in God
Saint Francis de Sales (1567-1622)
Do not look forward to the changes and chances of this life with fear. Rather, look to them with full confidence that, as they arise, God to whom you belong will in his love enable you to profit by them. He has guided you thus far in life. Do you but hold fast to His dear hand, and He will lead you safely through all trials. Whenever you cannot stand, He will carry you lovingly in his arms.
Do not look forward to what may happen tomorrow. The same Eternal Father who takes care of you today will take care of you tomorrow, and every day of your life. Either He will shield you from suffering or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it.

Be at peace then, and put aside all useless thoughts, all vain dreads and all anxious imaginations.
