Ever heard if Father Spitzer? He is has a tv show “Father Spitzer’s universe” in which he talks about science and Faith for non-science people although he does say things only science guys will understand
I wonder if he is aware of the latest findings in biology. Many theistic evolutionists are not.

He seems to think that accepting scientific facts is some kind of atheist agenda which denies God.
I absolutely accept properly reasoned scientific facts and why I am an IDvolutionist
Yes. Why would scientific facts have anything to do with atheism?
Science - the scientific method - by definition, is religiously neutral.

And the language of Genesis, in any translation, is open to such wide interpretation that I struggle to see how ScienceTM could emphatically contradict anything said.

Example - most recent common ancestor, Noah. Science can not refute that.
Example - God’s existence prior to 13.9 billion years ago. Science can’t refute that.
Example - Multiple realms (dimensions) of existence with advanced life forms (angels). Science can’t refute that. In fact last time I checked, the idea of there being a realm of existence parallel to this one is gaining scientific acceptance.

Is there really a problem with Genesis? Is belief based on what science says or God?
God declares the end from the beginning. I know science is always changing what is at any given time based on their latest theory. Science is being used to promote atheism. If you believe science then no miracles in the bible are real. God is a supernatural spirit being and infinite we on the other hand are the total opposite.
Romans 1: 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

Are you suggesting that we must choose between God and science?

God says in his word He has clearly made Himself known to all men and they choose to deny His existence.
Atheism has run a muck in science today and is their tool. Just look, man is nothing more than a smart animal and none the better. No intrinsic value. He came from nothing and in the end he goes to nothing. Leading to us being our own gods.

I admire your faith in God, however, I believe that science is a gift from God that we can use to draw closer to him through general revelation. I firmly believe that atheist who attempt to use science to justify their worldview are not using science in the way that it was meant to be used, and I must add that Atheism is no more scientific than Catholicism.

No need for a capital A. And atheism has zero connection with science. Maybe you’re thinking of secularism.

Logically, sure, but functionally?

As it turns out, rejection of supernatural explanations seems to lend an advantage when pursuing natural explanations.
It shouldn’t. One should be able to agree on scientific matters whether you are a Christian or an atheist. It’s religious ones where there is disagreement.
