I am imploring your prayers for an upcoming major health procedure

I’ve asked you folks here to pray for me before and you always faithfully have prayed for me.

And at least in part because of your prayers, I have done very well.

Now I implore you for your prayers again.

I have an upcoming major health procedure in a few days. A very dangerous one.

If this health procedure goes well, I should be good for awhile anyway.

If I have a major complication, I probably won’t make it.

Many thanks for your prayers you prayer warriors! I hope to “see” you back here afterwards from a healthier vantage point.

please before you get your procedure…receive the great sacrament of the anointing of the sick. Hoping you already have done this. prayers for you.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Cathoholic). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Cathoholic’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer for the Apprehensive Patient

Christ said to His loved ones: I am with you, fear not, be not anxious. May I, then, be confident that in the trials and crosses of my life that You, O Lord, will be my constant companion. Whenever I cannot stand, You will carry me lovingly in Your arms.

May I have no fear of what may happen tomorrow. For the same Eternal Father Who cares for me today will take care of me tomorrow and everyday of my life. You, O Lord, will either shield me from suffering or give me strength to bear it patiently. May I be at peace, then and put aside all useless thoughts, anxieties, and worries.

Amen.
 
Prayers for a successful procedure, continuing good health and a quick recovery. May God grant your health care providers the skills and wisdom needed to heal you. May He provide you comfort. His love is always there!

St. Luke, physician and healer, I ask your intercession for Cathoholic that God
will give wisdom to his doctors who perform the procedure and that it will be
successfully done. I will keep you in my prayers.
