I am a Christian of no denomination. Am I going to hell?
You don’t have to.I am a Christian of no denomination. Am I going to hell?
You believe in just “the basic” principles of Christianity? What about all the others?I believe in God and all the basic principles of the Bible and do my best to follow them.
The Church is “the Church”, and not a collection of “denominations”. The Church IS Catholicism, by the way.But what I don’t understand is why there is any necessity for denominations or Catholicism.
No. Christianity is the Church, and the Church is Christianity.I always thought Christianity was just Christianity.
Why? What do you think you mean by “dogmatic”?I have the tendency to believe that God isn’t as dogmatic as certain sects of Christianity are including the Catholic faith.
The Church contains all those who are saved, many of whom are not “Catholics”. (The “Roman” rite is just a very large percentage of all Catholics.)I mean no offense by this so please don’t misunderstand my meaning. My best friend is Catholic and we debate doctrine often… What I really want to know is why the pope said that non Roman Catholics aren’t saved, given the Pope is a learned man.
There is a 10 week course in Revelations that is awesome that you would probably enjoy… it is part of the Great Adventure series…it was awesome!Well I mean I believe everything the Bible says but I’m not sure about interpretation’s of the Bible. For example the anti-Christ I don’t think will be any one person, but the corruption of our society and many people in authority. I worded this post badly.
Who can say, except for God?I am a Christian of no denomination. Am I going to hell?
No, you did great!Well I mean I believe everything the Bible says but I’m not sure about interperatations of the Bible. For example the anti-Christ I don’t think will be any one person, but the corruption of our society and many people in authority. I worded this post badly.
The Word of God NEVER says being born again is water baptism.A Christian is born again at the time he/she repents (“a change of one’s mind toward God and an abhorrence to sin”) and believes the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Mark 1:15).
**Wrong.
The gospel of easy-believe is NOT the Gospel of Christ.
There’s a difference between being born again and a conversion experience.
Jesus said in John 3 that being born again is water baptism.

Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through Me.One of our famous Bishops said, “Everyone wants to go to heaven but not everyone wants to do what is required”. By refusing to accept His Church you are rejecting him and his teachings. So the nature of your soul is precarious. Many read the bible and think they understand it and those who read it do not agree among themselves as to what it says. Even the bible says that it is hard to understand. Yet you and others like you think you have it all figured out. You must first lay your pride to the side and accept the fact that you may be wrong. So who is right? The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus himself to teach mankind the way to salvation. If you are to be saved then you must do the will of the Father. But you do not really know the will of the Father without the Church to teach you. I suggest you learn what the Church teaches and by learning that you will learn what Jesus teaches for the Church and Jesus are the same.
Can’t see the forest for all the trees. :dts:The Word of God NEVER says being born again is water baptism.
1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Hisalone, when you make those claims, just realize that Catholics shake their head in wonderment. Why?Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through Me.
Jesus saves. Not Roman Catholicism.
Jesus gave Himself so that all men might be saved it is not Roman Catholicism.
All believers are of Christs Church not just the believers of Roman Catholism.
Do not believe another gospel believe onto Christ.
