One last thing…I promise …instead of Christian denomination trying to evangelize each other,(because we are all trying to follow Him, as it is) perhaps we should band together and try and evangelize those who don’t profess Jesus as our Lord and Saviour…modern day apostles, spreading the Word…just a thought.

The Catholic Church isnt the only true Church. All of the denominations have truth to them. It is just that, some things are missing from those other churches, like the Eucharist

I’d have to pick #2 AND #5.

I was baptized and confirmed.

However, as an adult I found too many issues with Catholic doctrine that I can not resolve to practice this religion.

However, I am interested in the faith that I was raised. There were many many many fellow catholics who didn’t know much about the doctrine.

I find myself educating many luke warm catholics about their own doctrine. I wish I had a dime for every catholic I met who thought the immaculate conception was the virgin birth of Christ.

I do respect catholics who have arrived at this church from an educated perspective and not from a family tradition.

He doesnt exist. He is a figment of your imagination,a god you have created for you to suit yourself. Its called IDOLATRY , and its the oldest sin in the BOOK. Idolalaters will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. The one true God,however, could and did creat hell for those who reject His mercy. They will reap His just wrath. I think you’re misunderstanding hell a bit here. People are waaay too influenced by Dante on this!

Hell is essentially eternal separation from God. The souls in hell are there because they chose to be there. Think of it this way…God offers humanity a relationship with him; we are perfectly free to either accept or reject it. If a person spends their entire life rejecting God and not wanting to have anything to do with him, why the heck would God then force that person to spend all eternity with him? Jade

Great explanation, I might add that gods rules are only to keep us from damaging our own souls not because god is some kind of kill joy.

   1. If the Popes have been right on the major problems of the 20th century would you consider their teachings on morals as infallible. Consider the lies we believed overpopulation and birth control, the recent popes have been right on. Infallible and more. My country has just made a 10 thousand dollar tax credit to reverse the population decline.
   2. Could God spend 9 months where there had been sin or could he have made the Virgin immaculate.
   3. If you are a Christian you must believe in the Christ rising from the Dead, as C.S. Lewis suggests. What miracle is impossible if you believe that. We Catholics are the miracle church. See the bread is God is the first step to see Jesus in every person, miracle indeed.

Incorrect. I said an all-loving god would not create a hell because you cannot have an all-loving god and a god that would create a place of eternal torment to send his/her creations to. Doesn’t work.

That’s fine. He isn’t an all loving god then. Funny though, how Christians claim that theirs is the one true God just because they say so. Maybe there is a one true God and…Christians are wrong.
