Praying for the intercession of St. Monica, St. Rita and St. Michael the Archangel to continue to help Augustine M, and all those afflicted with Addiction, to turn their hearts back into temples for the Lord. Help them to fight against the deamons of addiction. Help them to trust fully in the power and grace of the Lord our God. Let their hearts be open to His healing touch and closed to the powers of Hell.

PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

It is just a short time since I requested for your prayers and now the good news is that there is some improvement. I went to my spiritual director and gave me tips on how to overcome and surely it is working. I ask every one to keep me in your prayers the struggle continues untill the battle is over.
Keeping you in prayer, Augustine. God is good. I will pray to St. Michael and Our Lady for assistance.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
cast into hell Satan,
and all the other evil spirits,
who roam about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

Merciful Lord, You alone have called Augustine M here, to benefit from the prayers of many hearts. Graciously incline Your ear to hear the intercession of Your Beloved Son, Christ Jesus, Who pleads on Augustine M’s behalf. May the prayers of the Angels and Saints rise to your throne like incense, sent aloft by Saint Augustine, who sits in Your presence begging Your mercy upon those whom he sees in himself. Our brother in Christ has asked for prayers of assistance. O Lord, how better to melt our hardened hearts but with the fervent plea of a fellow sinner! Graciously yield to the storm of prayers, that Augustine be strengthened to turn away from sin - only to find Your Loving Presence waiting in forgiveness. Heavenly strength, loving healing, all through Your Holy Name. Amen! Alleluia!

Thank you for this update and giving thanks that there is some improvement. Will be keeping you in daily prayer…

Augustine, I will keep your intention in my prayers. I have also added your prayer intention to the list on my blog for others to see.

Peace of Jesus be with you,

Kelly

I am grateful for all your heartfelt prayers that you offer for me. I am hopeful that I will overcome and also request for continued prayer so that I do not make mistakes that would deter the progress as it once happened.

I also pray that God keeps all of you in good health wherever you may be. Keep smiling and be blessed.

Your brother in Christ,
Augustine

Keeping you in my prayers, Augustine. God Bless.
Lord, we thank you for your guidance in Augustine’s life. Praise be to you. Augustine has reached up for your outstretched hand Lord. You have offered him your tender love and mercy, as the most gracious and loving of Fathers will do for his lost child. Stay near him Lord. Blanket him in your love and forgiveness, that he may find courage to walk this journey. Alone it can be frightening, But with you at his side Lord, he is sure to find the strength and will to march onward, and make you proud. With you Lord, all things are possible!

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our Daily Bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Augustine, do not focus on the sin. Fix your gaze upon Christ, who came to save, not to condemn. Even when you fail, do not hang your head, for Christ calls you with the message of hope, not despair. Our sin we will always have with us. Christ is the promise. The evil one desires you to focus on your sin, to be absorbed by it, to allow the sorrows of sin to defeat you and cause you to veer off the path of righteousness. Then, he has you.

Do not beat yourself up. The world, which does not love you, will do that for you. Pray for the strength to remain focused on Christ in spite of the attacks of evil. Google “Catholic spiritual warfare prayer” and look through them. One will have been written just for you. They are very powerful against evil. Pray one while placing all faith and trust in the Lord, as you are indeed in a spiritual war with the very forces of evil that are written of in scripture.

Christ’s peace be always with you.

Thanx a lot for advice and your prayers and for the Catholic spiritual warfare I am going to try.
I also continue to thank all of you brothers and sisters who contionue to offer fervent prayers for me and the rest of our brethren in need. Remember to pray for Holy Fathers intentions daily.

Keep smiling it does not hurt.

Remember us, blessed Germaine, your brothers and sisters who labor and suffer in this difficult world.

Know that we place our hope in you, ask for your help in our need, and for consolation in our suffering.

Hear us as we ask you to be with us in our time of trial.
You experienced much pain, isolation, humiliation, and suffering.
Now from your place of glory please look with kindness upon our sorrows.
In your happiness, remember our tears.

Form us in the way of your humility, your patience, your faith, and your charity.
And then, at the hour of our death, welcome us to our eternal home. Amen

Finally I can confidently say that there has been tremendous improvement. I offered my problem during this Lenten season and so far so good. With God everything is very possible.
Temptations come but I usually ask our Lady the sure refuge of sinners to help and intercede for me( this was the advice from my spiritual director more than a month ago) and I must say that it works.
Thank you all for your heartfelt prayers.I had died in addiction but I have risen to new life with Him who defeated sin. Let us keep praying that I do not die of the same death anymore.
May the risen Christ bless you all in this Easter season and through out your lives.

Amen! Alleluia! The Lord God is Goodness and Light. There is no darkness when you are close to Him. Pray constantly during the day, as Saint Paul taught. Fight the good fight against evil. Do not look down, at the ground, or you will end up there. Look up to Heaven, so that you will end up there, instead!

Gracious and loving Lord, continue to bless Augustine M with newfound grace and strength against the evil one. Lift his spirit just as You raised Your Son on Easter morning. Renew hope within him and reveal Your presence and Your love through those around him, so that he will know he is never alone. Lord, in the words of the Prophets, you promised redemption. In the Incarnation, You revealed the Promise. In His passion, death and resurrection, You fulfilled Your promise for ever and ever. We proclaim this through our Risen Lord Jesus Christ, Your Blessed Son, the Promise kept! Amen! Alleluia!

Praying for you! When the world gives up, God doesnt! His Mercy endures forever!!
