I am very anxious about the things I do. fear of doing the wrong move.

Any advise?

Any advise?
Fear not.

God’s Mercy and Love is infinitely more powerful than your sins.

God cannot and will not stop loving you, even if you stopped loving him. Love cannot hate. God loves you the way you are with all your short comings. God loves you more than you love anyone or anything including yourself.

Do not fear your loving father… Love him.

The fear of the Lord is not being scared of the Lord… The fear of the Lord is reverence and awe for the Lord.

Perfect love casts out all fear.

“Your accumulated offenses surpass not the multitude of God’s mercies: your wounds surpass not the great Physician’s skill.”
—Saint Cyril of Jerusalem

Read St. Faustina’s Diary, it would be really good medicine for you. Quite interesting also!!

“Fear is useless; what is needed is trust.”
Go to confession, be sincere in your contrition and purpose of amendment, trust in God’s mercy. Go to daily Mass and say the Rosary. That’s what Jesus taught us to do and these are the well-tested means.
Continuing in fear of your salvation shows a lack of trust and love for God. Strive to overcome this by practicing radical trust in God’s word and sacrament.

Most of use would advise it’s a great theme to ask about during confession or talk to your priest about.

‘He who loves God with all his heart does not fear death or punishment or judgment or hell,
because perfect love assures access to God.’ - The Imitation of Christ

Fear is not to be the driving force in our relationship w God. LOVE IS! How can we be tempted to sin if we really love God? IF YOU LOVE ME, YOU WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS. We must recognize our flesh & separate it from our Spirits. Our bodies will die & rot. Our Spirits live on. Guide your choices to help your Spirit grow & go to heaven…,Our flesh will send us to hell.
Pay attention to the 7 deadly sins & 12 commandments. Your body is to be chaste & our minds pure. Do not say profane words. Do not say the Name of Your Lord go down in vain. Every time God comes out, turn it into a prayer. Embrace our Faith & Catholic traditions. No pornography! No sex related movies or music. Travel w Holy ppl from church.
WE CAN BE IN THE WORLD BUT NOT OF THE WORLD. We walk a Spiritual path while walking in a sinful, world.
Feel God’s love. Live your life fully. No time for sin.
It will be well w your soul…
In Jesus name. Amen

What you are talking about is discipleship, not salvation. You’re confusing the two, that is a dangerous thing to do. God loves us perfectly, we cannot love God perfectly, we cannot stop sinning for sin is in our flesh. We should try, we should do good works, but none of that is for salvation. Salvation is by faith alone.

If it’s just constant fear that every decision you make might be wrong then you’re involved in over-scrupulosity, perfectionism, etc. That’s fear-based and actually negative, unprofitable, against Christ’s teachings.

If, OTOH, you just want to do the right thing, hunger and thirst for righteousness, etc, then you’re already on the right path and God will provide a way as you naturally seek Him on this matter. Ask, seek, knock: pray.

I have another book suggestion – “Story of a Soul” the autobiography of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. She shares humor, heartbreak, and the spiritual life. My favorite story about St. Thérèse is her audience with the Pope. Despite her instructions not to speak with Blessed Pope Pius IX, she appealed to him for her early entrance to a Carmelite Monastery. She’s so real, so complex, and so insightful. She’s one of my favorite saints.

Are you being Sarcastic?

That’s straight St Paul. Just like everything else, it is how you understand the statement that is or is not Catholic.
I checked a couple other threads … this ‘holytext’ person has made a more explicit anti-Catholic post in one of them.

Thank God for His infinite mercy, thank God for the grace He sends you to do good, and when you fail to do good, tell Him you are sorry and when you can, make a good Confession.

You will not lose your salvation except by incurring the guilt of mortal sin. For that, you have to commit a grave sin (serious matter), with your full knowledge and with your full consent.

You’re obviously not saved.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
That is not for you to judge.

Also, you do the typical Protestant thing of cutting off St. Paul at verse 9. Continue with verse 10:

For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God has prepared in advance, that we should live in them. (Eph 2:10, NAB)

And don’t forget James 2:24.

See how a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.

You do not list yourself as Catholic, and this statement of yours is not in accord with Catholic teaching. It is highly likely to derail the thread, which is really not very nice.

How would you like it if a Catholic went to a Protestant forum and starting telling people with problems that they should pray the Rosary? Please try to be polite here.
