Oh yes you can. We can deny that faith and grace at any time, because we have free will.
You don’t lose it as in it is taken from you unwillingly. When one is not saved it is because salvation was not chosen by that person.

Losing salvation is impossible as said in John 10:28

and I give eternal life to them and they will never perish and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

This is not consistent with Catholic church teaching . The Church does not teach “Once Saved, Always Saved”; it teaches you can definitely lose salvation. The Church also does not teach self-interpretations of the Bible in this way.

Christians did not interpret John 10:28 this way for the first 1500 years of Christianity. Otherwise provide witnesses to this.

Salvation is NOT BY WORKS (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Salvation is UNTO GOOD WORKS (Ephesians 2:10)

Good works are not the MEANS of salvation (Titus 3:5)
Good works are the RESULT of salvation (Titus 3:8)

FLESHLY WORKS cannot please God (Romans 8:8)
FAITH WORKS are pleasing to God (Hebrews 11:6; 1 Thess. 1:3)

A person cannot WORK FOR his salvation (Romans 4:5)
A saved person can WORK OUT the salvation that he has (Phil. 2:12)

Faith alone saves (Rom. 3:28)
The faith that saves is not alone (James 2:14,20,22,26)

How can I be saved? ONLY BY FAITH (Eph. 2:8; Gal. 2:16)
How can I show that I am saved? ONLY BY WORKS (James 2:14-26)
Word of God will keep you from sin. John 17:17
Also recipe the rosary all the time then you see the divine power immediately.

Salvation is by faith alone.
Sorry the Bible doesn’t say so.

John 10:32 32 Jesus replied, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these are you going to stone me?”

Ephesians 2:10 For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.

Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who from now on die in the Lord.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them.”

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?’ 23 Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.’

Yes, no one will snatch them out of His hand. Doesn’t mean they can’t walk away.

By their free will, one can loose their faith and and reject them ,Jesus never imposes his authority on other against their free will, he respects their choice and their decisions. Revelation 3:20 Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you, and you with me.

1 Timothy 1:19 having faith and a good conscience. By rejecting conscience, certain persons have suffered shipwreck in the faith; 20 among them are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have turned over to Satan, so that they may learn not to blaspheme.

Hebrews 6:3 And we will do this, if God permits. 4 For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 and then have fallen away, since on their own they are crucifying again the Son of God and are holding him up to contempt. 7 Ground that drinks up the rain falling on it repeatedly, and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God. 8 But if it produces thorns and thistles, it is worthless and on the verge of being cursed; its end is to be burned over.

Hip Hip Hooray!
Gods grace calls the Holy Spirit to invite us in w knowing the knowledge of God.
Salvation is free! No charge! If our Salvatiin is true, you will see good works. Good works are a check for our Salvation!
Once saved, always saved is not true. I’ll look up verse. But, we get in to semantics here. The person didn’t really make a good confession of faith. OR he backslid. Well, if he doesn’t repent, he isn’t going up by God’s choice.
God bless

It’s like this, ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED. Now if you murder someone, you can’t be saved but others will say,”He didn’t really mean his altar call!” Meaning, he wasn’t saved before.
If saved, we are not able to murder. So, evil has helped us throw our Salvation away. OR we didn’t mean our altar call.
Rejoice! God is! & He loves us.

1 Peter 5 NABRE - USCCB:

6
So humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.d
7
Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you.e

Matthew 6 NABRE - USCCB:

Dependence on God.
25
n “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat [or drink], or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
26
Look at the birds in the sky; they do not sow or reap, they gather nothing into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you more important than they?o
27
Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life-span?
28
Why are you anxious about clothes? Learn from the way the wild flowers grow. They do not work or spin.
29
But I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was clothed like one of them.
30
If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith?
31
So do not worry and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear?’
32
All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
33
But seek first the kingdom [of God] and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides.
34
Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil.

If one has faith, doing good works shouldn’t be a problem, the debate should never even come up. It is easy to claim faith between channels in your recliner. Just my .02.
