J C, thanks for your capable judgement. I saw your wife (Once, one look). She is so beautiful, with a bag on the shoulder. You are a very lucky man. May Allah bless you both with success and happiness..

Planten, your posts are progressing a bit but you still need to hear more to understand, especially from us, Christians. I have a feeling you are beginning to be one of us only that you are suppressing yourself not to accept the truth. The best thing you can do is follow the straight way, the One who was real and full of Love. Try to calm yourself and compare the Quran and the Book, then Jesus and Muhammed. The difference is just no match at all.

You are mystified by Muhammed because in your childhood, you were forced to memorized the quran without even understanding it. You were not given the liberty to express your free will because of the abnormality of the Hadiths. They are not in cohesion and compatible with human virtues. Think! Jesus is waiting for you.

rikkk, Thanks for the invitation. You are so good as to invite me to your faith. May Allah bless you all.

ISAIAS 9:

6 For a CHILD IS BORN to us, and a son is given to us, and the government is upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counsellor, God the Mighty, the Father of the world to come, the Prince of Peace.

ISAIAS 9:

Hi

I don’t see Jesus’ name mentioned in your quote.

I love Jesus

Thanks

** I won’t speak from myself but I will present the idea of some one who said that the above does not apply to Jesus at all. He said that the birth of Jesus could be wonderful. But the rest of things do not apply to Jesus.
  1. Consellor: Jesus did not consult any one in his life. There is no record in bibleNT that Jesus consulted any one on important matters or he took any opinion from any one.
  2. God the Mighty. His God the Mighty was some where else whom Jesus used to to pray to and whom he called out in distress (on the cross). If he was God the Mighty then whom he was calling? Another God Almighty? Are there two God Almighty.?
  3. The Fathe rof the world to come: Jesus was not any father. All people hear about him as a son only. He never married. Every one saw Jesus s the son of Mary.
  4. He was a prince alright, hailing from King David. But prince of peace does not apply. He did not see any peace himself nor did he bring peace to any one.
Jesus himself admitted that he had not come to bring peace in the world (See bibleNT please)

So all of the above could be meant for some one else othe rthan Jesus because the name of Jesus is not found in that verse of prophet Isaiah ch.9**

paarsurrey, u didnt actually answer anything i just said in my post
He never did. Perhaps his ignore list is full with the names of us, so much that he did not get any new response. No wonder he keep on asking the same things over and over again. Never bother to proof his ideas.

Hi friend /brother swariffin!

Don’t be angry; an angry man/woman loses the substance in the posts. Please remain cool; as you have ever been. May God Allah YHWH bless you!

Thanks

I think what you mean here is “Counsellor”.
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been his counsellor? (Romans 11:34)
Yes, God has no Counsellor, He only counsels or teach as Jesus did that to the people.
  1. God the Mighty. His God the Mighty was some where else whom Jesus used to to pray to and whom he called out in distress (on the cross). If he was God the Mighty then whom he was calling? Another God Almighty? Are there two God Almighty.?

I think this is because you do not want to believe what is being told in the Holy Bible, rather you are still getting your understanding from Islamic teachings. I can not force you to desist from your source, but you can not come in here and tell us that our Book is inferior to yours. The whole truth speaks for itself if you only look intently and closely to the materials and writings before your eyes and mind. It is very obvious that your intention here is to compare what is taught to you by Muhammed but I am sorry my friend, you miss the whole truth. Read the Bible again about the birth of the Lord.

Gabriel of 12;4777900:
**This post and the previous from Rob, it is alright to believe that Jesus is God. There is no bar on any belief. After all the idol worshippers also have a belief with out foundation. They just believe. So do the christians.

The religion and idea of God did not start with Jesus. One has to see the previous scripture too. God had been revealing himself to many other nations since very long time. The idea of a man God is not fit for belief.

Jesus did many miracles. These are mentioned in the Quran too. But please do not mix the real things with metaphorics and parables. There are many symbolic things that church has taken as real, such as son of God and God.

As long as Jesus was around, he was the beloved of God and could be said to be a beloved son of God (metaphorically). He could be a God on earth too (Symbolically). The only one representing God here. But that was all. Please do not take those words as real.

Miracles have taken place in the time of every prophet of God. Even in the time of Noah a.s when the people were denying the truth and abusing Noah, God had shown the greatest miracle of the Ark and drowned all the rascals.

Same was in the time of Joseph son of Jacob, in the time of Moses too. How Moses was saved from the water soon after birth, and how he crossed the sea safely with his people?. See? The miracles of the Hindus are much greater in their power (strength).

The church teachings are false such as the original sin, all people, all prophets are sinful except Jesus. There is no one a God except Jesus.

Nobody would believe those things. It would be like being a pagan. Please think over and ask all such things from the Jews too. They are the predecessors of the christians. Do they have such beliefs? never.**
In your answer you place limitations in what God can do? Are their limitations in what Allah can do? If so then he ceases to be God. The lack of respect for the church which God setup on earth as his true revelation not by any mere man. Remember muslims claim that Jesus was protected from death and yet Mohammed is in the grave. Interesting… Their is error in Islam because it was not setup by God but that does not mean God ceases to exist in it because God is everywhere has his hands in everything. So thats why I give respect towards the religion. As part of the culmination for His plan you can see in the Old Testament the very essence of what God was about to do. And Jesus as God fits perfectly as a demonstration of how much love he has for us. And to be with us forever is why the Church he built is essential till he returns. We cant discount the Devil in all this because he also has in hands in many things you can ask Mohammed about that one. In fact their were warnings of a different Gospel being received from an angel in Sacred Scripture. Should we not respect God’s revelation and start believing in what Islam has to offer which is by a mere man and possibly Satan as Mohammed first intuiton was. Also Mohammed lack of demonstrating really saintly like qualities also has me disbelieving in the supposed truth of Islam.

And you wouldnt due to lack of vision and placing it in proper context… NOt just a couple of lines before and after but from the beginning of time to the end.

Remain in your ignorance, it is you who really needs to research this… It has been received by us as His Family… Very poor response… Its seems like your reaching, we very much see this.

** My God is a living God. Your god is dead. My God can do what he likes. (That is written in Quran). Your god cannot do anything. Your god could not forgive your sins without becoming a man. Why?**

Any Christian who reads your post can easily describe your sense of understanding about our God and your Allah. But for me, if you truly believe that their is God, I am with you especially when you believe in God that Abraham believed but not the Allah that Muhammed believes. The reason why we Christians are not with the idea of Muhammed’s theology is because of the way he presented his revelation. We have explained this to you. Muhammed cannot replaced what had been revealed because He is not part of any prophesies in the Book that you lean on for guidance and correction. We can not allow that to happen especially the way he instructed his army to slaughter all of us non-believers.

The Bible clearly teaches us how we should praise God and the ultimate sacrifice of the Son was to show His people that God truly loves them. Read the whole story and try to understand why there is OT and NT. It is all about the progression of the knowledge of mankind and the power and glory of God that He wanted to show His people. Some of us had been subjects of His will in war and peace. He is God the creator who can do all things. His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. This means anyone can receive grace according to His will, and if you are part of His plan chances are you will receive His grace no matter who you are.

More of your true self is coming through, planten.

And the assertions of muslims is that the God of Israel is their allah. If that is true - then your god is dead right along with ours. But, I don’t believe they are the same so I will continue my thoughts on this. But, you should reexamine your ‘logic’ - it doesn’t make too much sense.

God can do anything He wishes. He promised His son and He gave Him to us. And you are unable to fathom that a God that created the vastness of the Universe and the smallness of this Universe could become Man. But, then you assert your god can do anything it likes.

Your god has shown its hatred, that it is fickle and changes its mind, doesn’t even keep its promises - so how can you be so sure that it would be consistent in its word to you through mohammed?

Qur’an 9:3 “Allah and His Messenger dissolve obligations.”

How do you know that you don’t fall into this category:
Qur’an 5:41 “Whomever Allah wants to deceive you cannot help. Allah does not want them to know the truth because he intends to disgrace them and then torture them.”

Basically, you got a god that is very deceptive - so how can you trust that?

And as for God forgiving sin - He can certainly forgive sin.

16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.[g] 19This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."[h]

He sent His Son as an example for us to save us from sin. You enjoy the freedoms in our society because it is based on Judeo-Christian attitudes. And muslims in our lands are working to replace the principles of our laws, our freedoms with sharia laws - those same laws that abound in human rights violations. We do not enjoy and are persecuted with death, torture, subjugation, etc - and I should add that many muslims don’t enjoy - their own society because they are based on a false god. One who brought chaos and hatred into the world. A paranoid, hateful little fraction of a man brought paranoia and hate, and other ills to his followers.
