I cant get around to start practicing

as the title says, i just cant get around to start practicing catholicism, i pray everyday and for the most part i have the holy spirit within me, but i havent been able to get out to a mass in a long time, nor do i read the bible. i feel like i should do more, but i just cant get around to it…

Okay, why’s that?
 
It is either a crisis of faith, sloth, or spiritual attack. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is administered tomorrow. Go, be absolved (which the devil hates) and speak to your confessor about this problem.

Why not? What is keeping you from mass?
 
I have gotten spiritually lazy during my lifetime … and then Jesus comes and taps me on the shoulder and says wake up … pray to Jesus to wake you up … then go to confession and mass and pray every day … eventually the spiritual laziness will go away.
 
Its simple. Tomorrow night there will probably be a vigil Mass in your area. Find the time and go. If you need to, get there early and go to confession. Then ask yourself if it was really that hard. And do the same next week.

It’s a New Year, with No more excuses. Go to confession and Mass, and learnthe meaning of true love, and receive true peace. :grouphug:
 
The OP never answered the “why” this is happening. With all due respect, we have no idea of this person’s situation at all. What has been happening that has resulted in this? Am not any kind of counselor and this is the Internet. Am not asking these questions for them to be answered on the WWW.

My heart goes out to the OP along with my prayers.
