I could use some prayers if you have the time

Homewardbound you need to remember you are the victim in all this, keep going to your therapy sessions between that and god you will come through it, will pray for you :gopray:
 
Brother you are still in my prayers and if you don’t mind here is a way to get the strangle whole the past has on people off you and it is to if you think you can… This weight hurts because it has transgressed onto your own rights, ok! To take back the power it has taken, if you forgive ( with no blaming) since these people did what they did because they thought that it was their right. You will take back the power, give it up to Jesus tell Jesus that you lay that past at the feet of Jesus nailing it to the cross. And brother it will be gone for ever because Jesus tells us so. I have had to do the same and I know it works.

Lord, homewardbound is no stranger to you and no one is ever far from your loving care. In your kindness watch over this person. Bring them to do your will. Heal their mind and their heart. Guide them to use this horrible tradgedy to help others. Remove all depression and anxiety. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN

Please DON’T lose faith and hope! God loves you and you are not being selfish for wanting God’s help. I believe it is the enemy who is trying to confuse you but God loves you and wants you to keep on following Him. I am so glad to hear that you still have your faith!

Thank you all so much for your prayers and comments.

I wish I could say I am doing better.

Right now, I am feeling so stressed. Unemployed, just lost my job, and now have no way to pay rent. The only way I can even eat is for my boyfriend to buy me food. Makes me not wanna eat. I know I have to find another job, but the thought just makes my anxiety go through the roof. I lost my job cause of all of this. I was suicidal that day and walked out, thinking it wouldn’t matter since I wouldn’t live much longer anyway.

I’m so sick of feeling like this. I wish I could just be normal and function.

Thank you all again, means a lot me to me know people care.

EDIT: yeah, I flunked out the semester I wrote started this thread. I should be graduating this May, instead I’m not in school and can’t even handle a part time job.
 
Oh,what a difficult situation!Praying for you…And there is a saint called St.Dympna whois the patroness of depression,so I will ask her to intercede.
 
I have been through therapy, and I think that in deciding for therapy you have made the best move. I came out of the other side of it all the far better for having made the choice to go into therapy and the diagnosis back then was ‘cot case for life’ - that I’m not! I know it is very hard to get used to a new therapist…trust God implicitly in all this and that He does indeed have a plan for you, that at the moment is clouded and in darkness…keeping you in prayer…

Depression is psychological, biological, and spiritual, and each part requires a different treatment. Prayer, knowlege and understanding, and medicine are all interchangeably helpful, and I hope you look at all the possible treatments.

I am praying for you, lifting your needs to God in search of peace for you and all who are so afflicted.

This is a lyric from a song in the 80’s. I was a teenager then. I sing it whenever I felt lost and can’t find God,can’t hear God. 25 years after I am still singing this song.

Homewardbound, just decide to come home to God, think of Him, read about Him, talk to Him, cry to Him, whenever you are stricken with guilt, sadness. emptiness and longing, lift it up to Him quickly and dismiss the thought right away. It is not being selfish to ask God for everything, that’s what being with the Lord and for the Lord is all about.

I am still on my way home to God, but this time I am more calmer now, more forgiving of myself, and of others. And I’ve learned to appreciate small graces and mercy.

God loves you for what you are now and he loves you so much that he wants you to see what you can become according to his will. Let go and let God show you the way home to Him…
