I don't think I can do this

I’ve responded to plenty of posts

I said they don’t deserve the aftermath of your emotions from an abortion, you’ve said yourself they deserve a stable mum. You really think you’ll be stable post abortion? It sounds like your struggling enough as it is. Get a grip woman! Sort your stuff out for your kids. If your kids can’t motivate you, nothing will.

I’ll kick someone who is willing to kill a baby for contraceptive purposes yes and when the emotions of kids are involved.
Well if you read the entire thread you would know I already had an abortion a a teenager. So in reality what you’re saying is, they don’t deserve me now. It doesn’t even matter at this point. Like I said, must be so nice to live a perfect life like yours.

I hope that made you feel better. Its reassuring to know my kids don’t deserve me. Thank you. There are hundreds more threads in which you can choose to respond to. But no, you choose to respond to one where you can kick someone when they’re down. Good job. Mission accomplished. I’m done with this site. Thank you for all your judgments. I’m sure you live your life squeaky clean without a blemish. Good for you.
As a father of 6 all I can offer to you are prayers and a few words. God bless you for coming here to search for a light in the darkness. I have not read all of this, so forgive me if I repeat what you have already heard, but I am sure that you are hurting and in many ways feel alone right now. But you are not now, nor will you ever be alone. Jesus is there with you as well as countless prayers of the forum faithful.

Many of them care, many of them get passionate, many of them express emotion or frustration about a situation that they “can handle better then everyone else” but rest assured that the people here do care. No matter how that compassion is expressed.

You are not judged. Only God can do that. You have been given a gift. A precious gift from God. And He has a plan for that baby. What that is, right now no one knows. But this happened for a reason. You searched for advice on a Catholic forum for a reason. You deserve the best. Your children deserve the best. Your husband deserves the best. Why? Because you are worth it. You are something. You are value and important. And the same goes for your baby.

Life is tough, it is crazy and relying on God is not always the easiest thing to do. Trust me I know. I struggle with it often. But I know that no matter what, He provides for me. He has given me the strength to be a father to my 6 beautiful children, a husband to my wife. I don’t deserve them. But you know what? He believes that I do. And I do not want to disappoint Him. He is the light in the darkness. Just remember, no matter how dark it gets, the darkness can never overcome the light. When you are in a dark room, pitch black, and you light a match…the light overcomes the darkness. Always. God will provide.

My prayers go out for you. Open yourself to God’s plan, He never disappoints you…never.

Wow, TruthFaith13, way to go.

The OP doesn’t deserve this kind of vitriol. If you’ve read even half of her posts on this thread you will see that she is in deep anguish of a kind most of us here cannot comprehend fully–but which many of us would like to assuage by whatever limited means we can.

Speaking of getting things sorted, if you can’t offer help the OP, perhaps you should stay off this forum until you learn to offer a little compassion.

She has and is trying but is clearly overwhelmed. The last thing an already stressed person needs is more backlash. Gentle guidance and love, my dears. Obviously OP knows this is a catholic forum and thus would persuade her away from abortion, because deep down she doesn’t want to resort to that but feels that she has no other options because of finances, lack of support, and possibly mental instability.

.
There has been 11 pages of gentle guidance and love, most of which she has made excuses for, sent back. sometimes it doesn’t work. If her kids can’t motivate her to sort herself out, nothing will. She has to make the decision herself, no one else can for her. She can decide to be the stable mum she wants for her kids and they deserve. She can decide to make well informed responsible sensible choices. Whether she will is entirely upto her.

He doesn’t want me to do it, but says he can’t stop me. Makes me angry because he would stop an adoption. Everyone I live around would understand abortion more than adoption. Makes me so annoyed.
I have done all I can think of for the moment. If I can think of anything else, I will link it up here. Please know that we do care greatly, for you and your baby and for your born children. Please do not despair. If you need anything, PM me. If you need someone to talk to, PM me and I will send you my contact information. You can get through this. I know it seems dark right now, but don’t lose hope. God bless you and keep you in His loving arms, TSB4.

Please, are you going to explore those the links that people supplied to you out of the goodness of their hearts or are you going to continue telling us what perfect lives we live?

Because the latter is a waste of your time. And we want you to get help.

It’s very hard to believe most days. I am struggling with this. I have been for a very long time. Between the move from NY to PA, things have gotten progressively worse with my panic disorder, and my faith. I have to make so many adjustments. Learnin a new area etc… Now with another pregnancy. I tried to do the right thing and not withhold sex from my husband. I tried to do the right thing and stay away from birth control and sterilization. I tried to follow NFP. I still managed to get pregnant again. Contrary to popular belief I don’t “want” to kill my baby, I want my circumstances to change. However, over the years they haven’t improved. I feel I’m being unfair to myself, my kids… If I did go through with it, I could take a year and do this nursing program and help with the finances. Maybe I’m not meant to be a homemaker? I’m just lost. I want to fix it.

I said in my other post that I saw you were struggling with that abortion still, so do you really think another is going to help things? I’m guessing you didn’t have your kids with the other one? Kids are good at picking up on emotions, even when you try to hide them. I’m not saying you don’t deserve you kids or they you, I’m saying they deserve a stable mum whose emotions are not wrecked. Sort yourself out that is all.

I don’t live in a perfect world, I’m not perfect, don’t claim to be.

I wasn’t talking to you. I already stated I would. If people would stop commenting that I’m a troll and undeserving of my children, then I wouldn’t have to assume they live perfect lives.

I have not kicked you. Irishmom2 has not kicked you. Xiantiappe has not kicked you.
Many others have shown love and compassion.
you are, at present hearing only what you want to hear, (or you expect to hear). In your distress you are not responding.

Listen to me: forgive yourself.
Forgive yourself for that forced abortion.
Forgive yourself for yelling at your children.
Forgive yourself for thinking your husband is not the man you think he ought to be.
Work on yourself.
All of the grievances are clouding your judgment.
Find a priest to talk to.
Turn to the Lord. Get on your knees if you have to.
Forgive yourself so that YOU may heal. Then, you will be able to give yourself fully to your children, your husband, and your unborn child.
Look what Jesus went through on the cross. Fully human, (of course fully divine) but fully truly human, He hung on a cross with people mocking Him, spitting on Him, friends scattered, Mother unable to help. He bore it for love. He would not be dissuaded from loving us into salvation.
Love your children enough to get the help you need. If you go to a place that’s awful, go to another place. No amount of effort is too much. It’s not just you, it’s children, a baby, a husband. Surely they are worth the effort even if you think you are not.
But you are! You are a child of God…made in His image, and destined to live with Him in heaven for all eternity. How quick we forget this!
You are a child of God.
You are our sister.
Many of us are praying fro you. God heaven’s sake woman, we don’t even know you and we have spent hours trying to come up with solutions to help you.
Some are better at it than others. Some say things out of frustration…just as you have.
There are no mean people here. Just concerned people. Your brothers & sister in Christ are reaching out to you,
I’ll wager that you are at this point because HE is reaching out to you.
You wanted to come in to the church at Easter. Walk in! Don’t wait for an engraved invitation. Walk in., Kneel down. Pray. Light a candle. Speak to the priest. make an appointment. Walk in. Talk to Jesus in the Tabernacle.
Talk to Him. See what He wants you to do. He wants your love. Give it. You will be astounded at the love you get back.
I’m still praying for you.
I won’t give up on you.
Dear one. Don’t despair.

Could have fooled me. My mental stability is one f the MAIN reasons why I came to that conclusion. I hardly think that’s a contraceptive reason. But, I could be wrong.

Why can’t you do a nursing program anyway? Plenty of people do while pregnant. Focus on one thing at a time. Your emotions first, then your decision, then the next thing and so on and so forth

How do you think an abortion is going to help you emotionally? Can you cope with another one?

People are just lashing out because of frustration in regards to the abortion, but please don’t misinterpret that as if these people don’t care. The majority of us do! About your well being and your kids. None of us are perfect. :dts:

Doesn’t make the words “undeserving of your kids” any less painful. I already have those thoughts when I have a hard time coping.

So let me get this straight? Others can say she is killing her baby, having a go because she isn’t taking advice, it’s wrong etc etc, but I can’t mention the emotions of her kids she already has? The impact her emotions post abortion will have on them?

Talk about hypocrisy.

It’s one year, begins in july. I wouldn’t be able to take time off for the baby.

I didn’t use those words…I said your kids don’t deserve the emotions you will have after an abortion. Which they don’t. I never said you were undeserving of your children generally.
