Keep in mind, that once a Baptized Catholic you are always a Catholic. regardless of whatever place you find yourself in on Sundays in the future. There’s no such thing as “I used to be Catholic”.

If they dragged you to church, then you have not experienced the Mass in it’s proper form.
I suggest you return to study about the faith.
Once you realize what it’s REALLY about, you may feel differently in the future. For now, no, you are in no shape to be Confirmed. You’ll just end up with an oily forehead.
.
Well keep in mind that is the RCC’s view, that you can never be a former Catholic. Plenty of other denominations feel otherwise.

But I will agree with you that the OP really should wait until they’re ready to make an honest commitment to the RCC (or any church for that matter). Going through the motions so to speak to me denies one of the key purposes of Catholic Confirmation, the renewal of Baptismal promises. If you’re not ready to make those promises, then to do so would be a hollow gesture. Don’t make the mistake of doing so until you’re actually ready to do so.

Hello. I don’t know if this is the right site to discuss this or not. I am almost 16. I was raised Catholic and am a sophomore at a Catholic High School. Before that, I was in public school. I am supposed to be confirmed in October. I don’t want to go through with it. I just don’t believe in Catholicism. I wouldn’t say I’m an atheist. I do believe in God. I just don’t believe in organized religion. My mother mentioned my confirmation to me a few days ago. How do I tell her I don’t want to go through with it? I know that this is going to cause a big argument. I have been dragged to church every Sunday since I was 4, which I hate. My parents know I hate it, but don’t care.
I also had much trouble in understanding how to trust in these possible self elected cardinals telling me in the law /cannon that I should commit my soul/ life to them in the belief that whatever they say I must believe comes from the hol_ y spi_rit, ( did not our master choose judas as a disciple ,at the end of your life do you blame the cardinals or your own desire not to be responsible and speak of these catholic heirs as having solved the mystery of faith, ` rather benign of intelligence really or is it just natural for many too have hope before ; persistence which builds character which becomes after much suffering : hope .

" I would like to stress though once again the eucharist is true, but only in communion with the commandments of OUR FA_THER through Emm_anuel , with the councillors blessing ( don`t jump on the couch too quick is advisable even from the most discernible of wisdom chasers…

This makes no sense.
We’re trying to help the OP not confuse him further.
Catholic “'soon”?
You have a distorted opinion of the faith, IMHO.

And further more, if you find the post above, above confusing wait till they make you adhere to the canonical way or refute you being Catholic, ( receive the eucharist and serve, conformation is best .

Youth is on your sideIm sure you understand ( That’s if your still reading these reply`s )
