When you eat your morning cereal… and I guess you could eat it for lunch or supper if you wish…(man you got to cover all your bases here or you will get nailed)… anyway, when you poor the milk on your cereal… do you flood it as in the days of Noah, or are you like my wife who puts four or five tablespoons worth in, tunnel’s down to the bottom of the bowl, creates a pond and pulls dry cereal in from the side then eats…:nope:

…drives me nuts, i got to have milk at the top of my cornflakes…👍

…i told her, that normal people put lots of milk in their cereal, and she disagreed… (can you imagine that, her disagreeing with me?)

Thoughts?

Hi space ghost!

You both do it the wrong way. I take a handful of cereal, stuff it into my mouth, then a sip of milk and then I just shake my head back and forth. You guys, on the other hand, are just weird.

I’ll usually over-fill the bowl with both cereal and milk. I can never seem to find a bowl big enough to hold it all. Anyway, I spill cereal and milk each spoonful and wifey gets irritated with me. 😦

Not as weird as my MIL. She put OJ on her cereal.

We have this same argument. Why do you need a puddle of milk left over all the time? Didn’t your mother tell you about starving people?

The dog loves the practice of the flood approach because most of milk goes to him-and it gives him gas.

Use a serving bowl like my brother did- no mess, and then drink the sweet, sweet milk from the bottom! :D;)

I would pour milk right into the box if I could 🙂

But otherwise, I’d go with the noah in the bowl effect.

Actually, I agree with your wife. I only put as much milk on the cereal that I’ll need. I don’t like the cereal to get soggy. Plus I’d rather drink an ice cold glass of milk afterwards instead of the warmer sweeter milk that’s left at the bottom of the bowl.

One for your wife.

The only milk I better see when I get done pouring it on the cereal is the droplets clinging to the kernels of whatever cereal I’m eating.

I say flood the sucker! Lots of milk, cereal swimming in it. Eat it fast so it doesn’t get soggy, and drink all that delicious sweet milk afterward-- especially if it was Apple Jacks or Peanut Butter Cap’n Crunch cereal. YUM.

woohoooooo! Score is tied… there’s a shot across the bowl…👍

I don’t eat cereal often, because it makes me sick, but on the rare occasions I do, I use absolutely the bare minimum amount of milk it takes to moisten the cereal just enough to get it down. Why? because:
  1. I don’t like milk
  2. I’m lactose intolerant
    😃
Better yet, I just get cereal that tastes good eaten dry, like granola. 🙂
