If you are able to…help those in need when you can.
That is what Jesus taught us to do
Prayers always too!
God bless you

It can be when overdone. We need to be realistic…sympathise, empathise, give help as appropriate and pray, but what practical use is wallowing?Now being empathic is unhealthy!
But you have real people suffering great distress. These people often bring on their own distress, and refuse spiritual help. I feel GREAT LOVE for these people, but I’m unable to help much.It can be when overdone. That’s exactly what I said.But you have real people suffering great distress. These people often bring on their own distress, and refuse spiritual help. I feel GREAT LOVE for these people, but I’m unable to help much.
But what about alms giving to the people in need. I hope you’re not suggesting that we ignore them. Not all suffering is necessary!I accept suffering as a part of life. As a Christian I believe no suffering is wasted suffering.
The early Christians suffered and died for their faith. I don’t suggest we ignore people in those situations.But what about alms giving to the people in need. I hope you’re not suggesting that we ignore them. Not all suffering is necessary!
Mostly, the ONLY thing you can do is to pray for these folks.But you have real people suffering great distress. These people often bring on their own distress, and refuse spiritual help. I feel GREAT LOVE for these people, but I’m unable to help much.
GOD BLESS YOU!!! I’ll keep trying to help the best I can.You can pray, pray to the LORD, pray for intercession, and above all, love the people who are suffering. Help them as best you can - remember Faith, Hope, and Charity. Life is full of suffering, it’s just been that way since original sin. Christ carried His cross. Everyone will have to, at some point.
Yes, I to believe in this also. And I accept it with arms wide open. I live to serve those in need, and I see alot of it. (not quite like Mother Theresa or St. Francis)I accept suffering as a part of life. As a Christian I believe no suffering is wasted suffering.
That’s a lovely prayer, Jesus, thanks!Yes, I to believe in this also. And I accept it with arms wide open. I live to serve those in need, and I see alot of it. (not quite like Mother Theresa or St. Francis)
Here’s a prayer that really helps me.
Oh, God
Oh, God, When I have food, help me remember the hungry;
When I have work, help me remember the jobless;
When I have a warm home, help me remember the homeless;
When I am without pain, help me to remember those who suffer;
And remembering, help me to destroy my complacency and
bestir my compassion.
Make me concern enough to help, by word and deed,
those who cry out for what we take for granted.
“For I was hungry and you gave me food.
I was thisrty and you gave me drink.
I was a stranger and you welcomed me…”
-Mathew 25:35
Remember the Holy Spirit and may God bless you
