Still praying for you, Tonks.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with the, blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Hello and God Bless!

Thank you all again for the continued prayers. I received the results back from the biopsy yesterday, and my doctor said that I have pre-cancer cells (or cervical carcinoma in situ). I’ll be scheduled for another procedure next month in which it will determine if the cells go beyond the surface, but my doctor feels that it isn’t invasive, and that we’ve caught it in time. Hopefully the procedure will take care of it all.

Though it’s not the news that I had hoped for, I do feel very positive about the outcome, and it’s proof for me that Our Lord loves, cares, and protects His children.

Thanks be to God!

My sister had the same - had to be treated surgically, but she’s well and truly lived to tell the tale :yup:

Continued prayers :gopray2:

My sister went through surgery, also. She is undergoing more testing and awaiting results. I will keep you in my prayers.

Thank you for this update and continuing to keep you in daily prayer and with Our Lady of Perpetual Help…

Well, my surgery (cone biopsy) is tomorrow morning. I only found out about it less than a week ago, so things have been hectic, especially during this Advent season.

I’d appreciate any prayers you can offer up for my intentions. God Bless!

I’ll take you to Mass with me now - and Mary Ann’s sister too.

I am praying for you, Tonks!

Thank you, Lily and God bless you. I spoke with my sister and everything turned out fine…praise God! Thank you, Mother Mary! The Dr. wants to keep a close eye on her, though, as this is the second time her test came up positive for cancer.

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Advent and Christmas season!

Well, the verdict is in. After consultations with my OB/GYN and an OB oncologist, it was decided that the best course of treatment in my case would be to have a hysterectomy. There are indications that some of the cells were beginning to form into lesions, and with the precarious state of my cervix being in question, this appears to be the case. I’ll know more as to when my surgery will be by the end of next week.

There are prayer teams at my parish tomorrow after each of the Masses. I’m planning on seeing one of them to have them pray on my behalf. I’m sad that this condition has lead me to this surgery, but thankful for the support of my friends and family, and for the knowledge of my medical providers. Most of all, I’m thankful for the grace the Lord has provided me in strengthening my faith during this trying time, and for the love and mercy of Christ and His saints in Heaven, especially Our Blessed Mother. The comfort she provides me is unending!

Thank you all again for your prayers. God’s will be done!

This must have been difficult for you. God ever bless you and Our Lady watch over you…will be keeping you in prayer…

Hi guys! I’m about less than a week from my hysterectomy, and I’m starting to get a little nervous. This morning I woke up thinking about what I will be doing this coming Monday and my stomach started twisting into knots! I’ve been trying to distract myself by getting things ready around the house and prepping the family.

I hope that things go well. The past couple of Gospels these few Sundays have been a tremendous help, especially with Matthew’s Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes.

I dunno…just wanted to vent a little and ask again for your prayers…God Bless.:o
