Oh I’m sorry…I wasn’t aware there was a history of illness, I assumed, inappropriately I might add, this was her free will to choose this path…if there is an illness involved, then please Holly, most definitely take Kage_ar’s advice!!!

personally?
i find that most Eclectic Wiccans end up being more confused, because eclectic means you are putting together a “little of this and a little of that” and frankly. they dont often work together.
its also very easy to get swept back and forth as an eclectic, since you have no community that shares your beliefs (they cant, they are all eclectic)
if you can manage it, i suspect you will be very lonely.
if you are truly drawn to Wicca, i would suggest, for your won safety if nothing else, that you look around and see what stable groups there are…who can at least help be a support network when you run into trouble.

She went from having another Eucharistic Miracle to being an atheist 2 days later, to having yet another Eucharistic miracle before the week was out.
In typical Holly fashion, she’ll probably be a devout Catholic again next week.

Hey Holly. I think it’s very good of you to make it clear to people who have known you here while you were in another belief. That’s a very honest and fair thing to give full disclosure like that. I want to become a nun but I can’t. The reason? I have mental illnesses. No convent will accept me with my mental illnesses. They are not severe mental illnesses in my opinion and they’re well managed with medication but still, no convent will accept me. I’m so depressed.*

Lay off her! She needs help, not someone who is tracking her every move and not offering practical help.
You didn’t even offer her your prayers. Thanks for the warning, but I’d give you a bit of your own medicine and warn Holly to be advised of your coldness and to promptly ignore your post- if not report it to a mod.

Um, no, we’re just a little confused and concerned. If you’re just goofing around, OK, but if not, methinks it’s a good idea to talk with someone; your priest is a good first choice.
