I haven't been here in awhile but this honestly scares me I need advice, thank you

This is nothing new. Nutjobs and crooks alike have been making this claim for two thousand years.
 
Don’t let it bother you. This stuff happens, what, every couple years? Talk with your priest, but it’s not really anything to worry about. Just pray for this man.
 
I do think it’s a good idea as has been noted to talk to your priest if you’re scared about this but as has been said really “there is nothing new”.
 
I admit this isn’t the most charitable attitude to have toward someone I’ve never met but I honestly I just can’t take this guy seriously. The snarky comments about being crucified, the self help seminars, the doe eyed look of all his followers, it’s ridiculous to the point of being offensive. Nothing new under the sun.

Don’t worry too much about it, when Jesus comes back we’ll know!

Anyways, someone commented with some song or poem in that link, I think it’s a wonderful piece of writing.

I passed a man bathing in the drain

but as I walked I started to wonder
which man of the two was the blasphemer:
the one who said he was the Lord himself
or the next one who can’t see the Lord in someone else.

He is biblical in one very important sense: he is the fulfillment of prophecy.

Matthew 24:5
For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.

Matthew 24:24
For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

Mark 13:6
Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and they will lead many astray.

And he said, “Take heed that you are not led astray; for many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them.

I wouldn’t even waste my time and energy trying to analyze this guy. Pray for his followers, and then turn your thoughts away from him.
 
Why be scared of this person? We are told in scripture that many will come and claim to be the Christ.

Just follow the teachings of Christ to be prepared for the second coming… Be about our Father’s business. It really is this simple…just be an ambassador for christ and ignore all these people who claim to be the Christ…the world is full of these people. Pray for this deluded person who thinks he is Jesus Christ.
 
If he’d awakened after a head trauma with this same “revelation”, they wouldn’t have released him from the psych ward yet.

He has amassed 40 followers. He has done nothing miraculous, and other than “realizing” he’s the reincarnation of the Incarnation with amnesia about his first mother tongue, he doesn’t claim to. Before the internet, would anyone know he exists? 🤷
