I must admit, this caught my attention…
Poor guy… maybe he should see a qualiifed medical doctor to see if he has some endocrine problem that makes him sweat so much… either that, or consider buying a treadmill to run in the privacy of his own home. Maybe we should consider taking up a collection to get him one?

I also sweat quite a bit while working out. However, I would not dream of working out in the nude while in a public area, regardless of the time of day. Even a pair of thin cotton boxers would have been sufficient to keep him legal. Something is not adding up here.

I thought the exact same thing. Anyone, especially a priest, in light of all the recent abuse issues, is crazy for doing anything in the nude in public these days. I mean, what was he thinking?!?
I hate to go all Freudian, but I honestly think he must have wanted to be caught…
I mean, gee, “I am a priest.I have a sweating problem. What should I do? See a doctor? Nah…I think I’ll jog in the nude.”

The Ancient Greeks, who did exercise in the nude, found that running caused certain body parts to flop around uncomfortably, and devised a use for a leather thong to prevent that.
This makes me suspect that the priest’s claim to be exercising that way isn’t the whole truth.

Flimsy indeed. He should have said something like “we’ve spent so much money paying off sex abuse cases that the diocese can’t afford gym shorts”. The RCC is so not over this mess.
