With all the negativity I see out there about the Catholic Church, I thought it might be nice to start a thread on why we LIKE being Catholic.
So…why I like being Catholic…
Well, the sacraments are a huge deal for me. Also knowing that we can trace our history to the time of Christ. I don’t have to rely on my own interpretation of scripture or moral issues (as I think I would tend to see things subjectively, rather than objectively). I love the ceremonial aspect of the Mass…that no matter which Catholic church I go to, I can pretty much expect the same experience (though with some differences in form, obviously). And in my own parish, we’ve been blessed with excellent priests.
