I love a Catholic girl but I'm Atheist?

I know it’s been a while, but I just wanted to update you on our relationship and my current beliefs. I consider myself a Catholic now, I believe in Jesus, and I thank God for putting my girlfriend in my life because she led me to God. My parents are very happy about this as well.

We’ve been together for around 3 months now, and we go to Mass every Sunday and I accompany her to Bible study throughout the week. My love for her and my love for God have deepened now.

I thought about your comment that you, “consider myself a Catholic now”. It is a wonderful first step. Soon we hope that you will be able to remove the “Consider myself” and just say - - I’m Catholic.

Yes, my girlfriend signed me up for RCIA classes at her Church. Sometimes I go to her house and she teaches me things from the Bible to help me with the classes 🙂

She’s really happy for me and how she’s helped me find God 🙂
 
For those who are still there, I just wanted to update you. So it’s been a year, and I’m still with her 🙂 I received Confirmation already, and my girlfriend and I go to mass with her. I teach a Sunday school class with her at the church every Sunday 🙂
