To accuse Catholics of bigotry against you is to accuse Christ of bigotry against you. For the Catholics have only been providing you with the message of Christ.

If you do not like these hard sayings of Jesus, you can do what the deserters did in John 6, or you can try to conform your views to Christ’s.

Please keep you eyes on Jesus and not the other Christians in this World

Except that the only way you know who Jesus is is because the other Christians (that is the Catholics) in this world proclaim Him to you.

Hello PR merger,

Stop hiding behind the Catholic Church. You are not Jesus! I was referring to individual Catholics like the ones on this forum who hammer other Catholics in an effort to condemn them with their own interpretation church law.

I keep trying to get the point across that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Jesus is in Heaven sitting at the right hand of God the Father. Symbolically in the Euharist too.

If you are confused then you are the one who should talk to a Priest. The Priest will tell you that what happens is between me and God. Three is a crowd! If you want to obey church law to the letter thinking that the law will get you into Heaven, that’s between you and God, and I am in no way part of it. Therefore, I will not try to superimpose my belief on you. I do not need others to reinforce my belief system, so I put all my eggs in one basket, “Jesus”.

I am a practicing Roman Catholic because that is my favorite church.

Gosh ! What a mess !
Do not be angry, the Church is Jesus Christ BUT inside men. And men are carrying gold in pots of clay. We are sinners and we sin everyday.
Now, the Church made a mistake in your case? The Church is making mistakes everyday and, in our earthly members, the Church is sinning everyday.
Do not be angry … forgive … Let’s face it, you got carried away by the romantic Philippines (I know the place) and you forgot some papers. Papers are essential in everyday life, suppose you forget the plane ticket or the ID or SS cards or credit cards. You have only one way: forgive and give a laugh to it. Otherwise, you will be carrying this burden all your life and spoiling the memories of your honeymoon (mine was disastrous…!)
