I may be fired today

Help please, I beg all of you. There was a big snafu at work and boss told me I am fired if he can’t straighten it out… and he hasn’t given me any clue how it is going or went.
 
Dear Lord preserve your child BlestOne from a situation that would cause her turmoil. In accord with Your mercy, please let her retain her job. Amen. :harp:
 
Lord, please keep BlestOne in your loving care. Please allow her to keep her job, and if that isn’t in your plan, help her to find what is and to trust you. Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen. :crossrc:
 
My prayers are with you, BlestOne. If even a large mistake could not be rectified, maybe it’s time to find one where they’re more forgiving…

My prayers are with you!! I hope you will get to the bottom of the problem, and find a timely solution for all involved.
 
I don’t know the details or anything for sure yet, but I think we are ok… now I am wondering if all this worry over something small is worth it. I made a mistake, I apologised, I told the truth about it when asked… and I was told there would be groveling involved.

The person that brought all this to light was trying to help me…the person it was about blew it all out of proportion and is trying to get me fired… I guess it all depends on who can make the boss more money and who is easier to replace if they have to go… I guess that is me. 😦

Please continue to pray for me and this situation… and thanks for all of you who responded with prayer so quickly!
 
i will pray for you, but it doesn’t sound like a great place to work with the 'groveling"–i worked somewhere like that once. getting out was a good thing. i trust this will all blow over for you, but if i were in your shoes, i would try to find a different job–you did all the right things-don’t despair

This must be a great stress…keeping you in prayer with St. Joseph The Worker…keep us informed…
 
Update… I went back to work after the boss had a meeting with trouble making employee (she left for the day before I got there)… nothing at all was said. As helpful co-worker was leaving work, I talked briefly to him but learned nothing. Today I called him and found out that all is taken care of. He told boss the troublemaker started it. While troublemaker is valued as an employee more than I, boss now knows she does start stuff.

I am still not sure how all is going to play out, but at the moment, I realize that I am not ever going to get my raises or move up. At the moment, this gives me the opportunity to look for another job while I am still employed.

I, too, was in precisely your situation at the start of this month. After being an unemployed cop for nine months, I got a job as a security officer in a local hospital. Unfortunately, the job turned out to have nothing to do with security, and there were people who made trouble for not only me, but everyone else in the department. It was a very political environment.

I started looking for another job, and when Ash Wednesday came around, I made the promise to say a perpertual novena throughout Lent. One of my requests was to find a new job closer to my professional training and abilities. The next week, I was hired by an armed security company, allowing me to quit my hospital job. 🙂

You always double your employability rating when you’re currently employed.
