I need fellowship

I have discovered that one of the main causes of my problem is loneliness. I don’t have good spiritual friends. I have realized that my masturbation/pornography problem is actually a way of making up for the lack of love or fellowship in my life. I tend to suppress my loneliness by masturbating. Pray that I may get some good fellowship.

It sounds like you are going through some serious difficulties like a lot of other men. I agree with you that getting away from isolation, especially the spiritual one, will be helpful. Try to see if there is an organization like this in your area.

Graciously send Your Holy Spirit to illumine his mind to the value of human friendship, which the Apostles shared with joy. Strengthen him to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and may all shame and guilt associated with his sin serve to deter him from again falling into the snares of the evil one.
