Being alone is not easy. I know it is hard on my daughters that are in the mid 20’s. I married at 27, and I remember the last few years before I did marry that it was getting more difficult. My daughters remind me of those times when they make comments. I pray that they find someone to share their life with, but I am more worried about them staying in the church. I see them drift occasionally and that is really more important than marriage. At least you have that part of your life in order.Today as I was thinking of this: Ifelt like breaking down and weeping, seriously, the thoughts again of my misery in not finding anyone is really painful for me.
Know that you are not alone and that God has a plan for you. I tell my girls that all the time. It is better to be alone than with the wrong person. I have included you in my 54 day novena for all the young people I know to find Catholic people to date. I hope that you get involved in things at your church or diocese, so that you are surrounding yourself with good people. You are in my prayers.
