Hello everyone. Thank you very much for your prayers. I really appreciate them.

That said, the main issue that is bothering me today and has to do with my spiritual health is that I have been having doubts. I do believe in the Catholic Church and of course, in God, but I am having serious doubts. I am also in a state of mortal sin. I fully intend to go to Confession tomorrow morning before Mass. I would greatly appreciate prayers for understanding, greater faith, and also more hope and love.

My asthma is acting up slightly this evening but nowhere near as bad as it was yesterday evening. Yesterday evening I had to take a breathing treatment because my asthma had become so bad. Thankfully it got better. I am having some mild shortness of breath and such but it isn’t too serious at this time. I am going to try my best to quit smoking for good starting in the morning. I would greatly appreciate prayers for success in dropping the cancer stick habit. I would also really appreciate prayers for my breathing.

And finally, I am having more pain in my elbow in my left arm. I have chronic Tennis Elbow which is also known as tendonitis. It can be quite painful at times. My shoulder injury is almost completely healed up though thankfully. Unfortunately my elbow is in some pain this evening. It was in worse pain but I took some ibuprofen and it feels a little better now.

Well, I am going to get off of here and pray the Rosary and such. The most important thing I request prayers for is the spiritual issues. Thank you very much in advance.

Glorious Archangel Saint Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the medicine of God, I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of you the favour to aid Holly3278 with her health and the great grace of purity to prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Our Father. Hail Mary. Glory Be.

St. Raphael, of the glorious seven who stand before the throne of Him who lives and reigns, Angel of health, the Lord has filled your hand with balm from heaven to soothe or cure our pains. Heal or cure the victim of disease. And guide our steps when doubtful of our ways.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end
Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our safe-guard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

Hey everyone. As you know, since being diagnosed with acute Bronchitis a couple weeks ago I have been having more trouble breathing than normal. Well, today is one of the worse days. My asthma is quite bad. I have had to take two breathing treatments so far and I am sure I’ll have to take another one in a few hours too just to keep my breathing going fairly well. I did quit smoking although admittedly the last time I had a cigarette was around 10 PM EST on Saturday so I am still in the very early stages of quitting.

Anyway, I am having some shoulder and arm pain today. The shoulder pain is mostly in my arm pit. I have been shrugging some more lately because of anxiety and so its hurting more.

I also wanted to mention that I did get to Confession and Mass this morning. I am so glad that I went. I could still use prayers for the strengthening of my faith though. My faith is stronger than it was though.

Hey everyone. I’m in quite a bit of pain this afternoon as well. I’d appreciate prayers for relief. Its mostly my back that hurts.

Holy Michael the Archangel defend us in the day of battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the Power of God,
thrust down to hell, satan and all the wicked spirits,
who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession and was left forsaken. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, a sorrowful sinner. Despise not my words, O Mother of the Word, but in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen

Mother Mary, St. Joseph, St. Dymphna, please intercede for Holly. Please ask our Lord to send angels to comfort Holly and ease the pain and physical, emotional, and spiritual problems she is dealing with at this time. Please ask him to give her strength and courage and fill her with his healing light and love. Amen.

Hey everyone. Its me again. I am having difficulty sleeping. My fibromyalgia is acting up quite a bit since I am sick. I fell asleep earlier but then my back muscle stiffened up and started spasming while I was sleeping and it woke me up cause it hurt.

My breathing is still doing quite poorly but I am surviving so long as I take my breathing treatments with my nebulizer every few hours.

And also, I wanted to mention that I had not taken my medicine for the past week but I just started taking it again this morning. Hopefully I’ll be feeling better soon.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to tell you all that my breathing is still not good. It seems to be a tiny bit better than it was but not much. Also, I still haven’t smoked and I intend not to smoke ever again. I’m not saying that out of pride but because I know smoking affects my breathing a lot and I thought you all would want to know how I am doing as concerning quitting the tobacco habit. Also, I would appreciate prayers that I would be able to conquer any temptations to smoke.

I also wanted to mention that I have been having a bit of a sore throat lately. I am not sure what is causing it but I have been having a mild sore throat. I think perhaps that I have some sinus drainage.

Hi everyone. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow morning. I just now called and scheduled one.

Hey everyone. I am still doing really bad and maybe even a bit worse. I ended up cancelling the doctors appointment for some reason. I don’t know why I did it. I am going to go to the quick care clinic after while though and get antibiotics and anything else they think I need.

and the Power
and the Glory for ever and ever.

Ave Maria, gratia plena,
Dominus tecum,
benedicta tu in mulieribus,
et benedictus fructus ventris tui Iesus.
Sancta Maria mater Dei,
ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae.

Perhaps you can reschedule your appointment later if you feel that it would be worthwhile?

Keeping you in prayer nonetheless.

Hey everyone. I went to the Quick Care Clinic yesterday morning and they said my lungs sound clear but I find that to be weird because I know I have been having a lot of trouble breathing lately. I had to take a breathing treatment this morning because my asthma flared up. I do have the beginnings of a sinus infection (sore throat and ear aches) though they started me on Amoxicillin to clear it up.

Also, I temporarily failed in quitting smoking. I smoked one cigarette yesterday. I was under a ton of stress and I just gave in to pressure. I am not going to do it again. I am starting over and am fully intent on not smoking at all from this point on.

I am really struggling with breathing this morning for some reason and I am not sure why. It has me worried. I took a breathing treatment about an hour ago but I am still having difficulty. If it gets any worse I may have to go to the ER.

I have been having some pain this morning and at this time it is on the increase. It is my back again. The muscles seem to be really tight. My legs also feel like they are increasing in pain. I am going to take my pain medicine soon.

I am also having more spiritual problems. I talked to my spiritual director yesterday and I am planning to go to Confession this afternoon or evening. He told me that I could go. I would appreciate prayers for a good Confession and also that I would get my doubts resolved. I am going to be starting an apologetics thread here shortly so that way I can hopefully get my doubts resolved.

Also, I need prayers for the thing that really stressed me out yesterday. I was told by a neighbor that we had to bag up everything that moves such as: computers, microwaves, clothes, dishes, and basically just absolutely everything. I was also told that we had to move absolutely everything away from the walls. She said that the reason is because they are spraying for bed bugs on Friday. Apparently there was one or maybe a few people here in the apartments who we now know have bed bugs. They brought in a dog to all of the apartments the other day to check for them. My apartment did not have them which I am very grateful for. But then later three other neighbors told me that only the people who had bed bugs have to do this. I am still really confused about it all but I am just trying to relax. I am going to try to get a hold of my land lord today and ask her what is going on. I really freaked out about this yesterday because I was overwhelmed with thought of having to do all of that and especially at a time when I am sick and doing something like that could trigger a severe asthma attack. I did recruit my mom, sister, my best friend, and possibly my brother to help me out with this if it is true. Regardless, my mom and my sister are going to come over this evening and clean for me. I am going to help them but they’ll be doing most of it because I am unable to do a lot of cleaning because of my disabilities. Its even worse now that I am sick. I am actually supposed to have someone come and help me out but unfortunately no one is available to do that. Thankfully my mom and my sister do come down every so often and help me. I am really grateful for it, believe me.

And last but not least, my mental illnesses are acting up. I did start taking my medicine again on Monday and I have been taking it every day like I am supposed to although I did accidentally forget to take it one evening. The rest of the time I have been taking it though. Unfortunately its not in my system enough yet for me to feel much of an effect.

So anyway, I would appreciate your prayers for all of the above. I am sorry for the long post. I just have a lot on my mind and a lot of problems bugging me.

Hey everyone. I am really struggling with some severe depression and moodiness today. I am feeling guilt over some sins I have committed. I am intending to go to Confession today. My spiritual director said I could go today but the guilt I am feeling is quite bad. I feel like I am not good enough to be a Catholic. I feel like I am never going to be able to make it to Heaven. Basically I think I am despairing and starting to lose hope. I hate that I am doing that but its so hard for me not to do. I keep obsessing on my failures and it sucks. 😦

Also, I am very moody and irritable today. I had an argument with my friend this morning and I am feeling really bad about it. Him and I reconciled but I still feel bad about it.

And finally, I feel like I have been under demonic attack lately. I feel like Satan and the demons are tempting me to lose faith in God because I have been dealing with some serious doubts lately. One of those serious doubts was resolved by a thread earlier. But then today it was just one thing after another going wrong. One of the things that happened was that a lid for a ceramic container fell on the floor and broke in half. It was my Grandma Williams’ before she died and I feel so guilty for accidentally knocking it down and getting it broken. I also feel bad because it was one of the things I got from her before she died and I don’t have many of those sorts of things. It reminded me of her. There’s also been a ton of other little things that keep going wrong today and I feel like Satan and the demons are somehow causing these things to provoke me or something. I may be wrong that this is all demonic but it definitely feels that way.
