Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom
and the Power
and the Glory for ever and ever.
Amen.

Ave Maria, gratia plena,
Dominus tecum,
benedicta tu in mulieribus,
et benedictus fructus ventris tui Iesus.
Sancta Maria mater Dei,
ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. I ended up not going to Confession cause I wasn’t feeling good and it seemed like it was about to storm as I heard thunder outside and I am scared of driving in rain since I had a wreck years ago where rain was a contributing factor.

Anyway, my asthma is really really bad tonight. I just had a severe asthma attack. I took my breathing treatment about 20 minutes ago and I am breathing better now but my breathing is still quite poor. I may very well end up in the ER tonight if I don’t start breathing better. I slipped again today 9/19/13 (It still feels like Thursday when its actually Friday now.) on smoking. I smoked maybe 3 or 4 cigarettes today which is more than yesterday. I know this is what caused my breathing to worsen. This asthma attack I just had was so severe though that I am definitely not going to smoke again. I am going to try really really hard not to slip up again. Believe me, this asthma attack scared me really bad.

Anyway, I’m having more pain again tonight too. I’m taking my antibiotics like I’m supposed to but so far I haven’t noticed much difference in my health.

I also wanted to mention that for the past several days I keep having this lingering pain in the left side of my chest. I keep getting paranoid and worry that its my heart but the doctor listened to it yesterday and didn’t say anything. Also, it may very well be related to my shoulder shrugging tic. I think there’s a muscle in your chest that connects to your arm and I probably strained it or something. Nevertheless, it scares me a litt.e

I’d appreciate your continued prayers. Thanks.

Hey everyone. I am doing better as far as my breathing is concerned. Its nowhere near as good as it ought to be but it is a lot better than it was when I made my last post a few hours ago.

But anyway, I think I have injured my knee. I was sitting here at the desk for a long while and I must have had my leg in one position for a long while as well. I got up and started moving around kind of fast and I heard my knee pop. I am now having some pain in the knee cap area when I bend my knee and while walking. Its not severe pain, its more of a moderate pain so I don’t think its a serious injury. Mainly I am just concerned that I might have caused an episode of bursitis again. I have had that in my knee before but its been a year or two since it last happened in my knee. I’m not sure if that’s what it is or not though.

I still really need prayers for spiritual health. I am wanting to go to Confession soon but I am not going to go until I feel like I am ready and I don’t think I am yet.

My mental health isn’t the greatest lately either. I had a nervous breakdown on Wednesday evening and have been in a lot of stress since then. My stress level has been really high for probably the past week or so though.

So anyway, thank you very much for the prayers. They are helping but I would greatly appreciate more prayers.

Glorious Archangel Saint Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the medicine of God, I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of you the favour to aid Holly3278 with her health and the great grace of purity to prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Our Father. Hail Mary. Glory Be.

St. Raphael, of the glorious seven who stand before the throne of Him who lives and reigns, Angel of health, the Lord has filled your hand with balm from heaven to soothe or cure our pains. Heal or cure the victim of disease. And guide our steps when doubtful of our ways.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our safe-guard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

Mother Mary, St. Joseph, St. Dymphna, please intercede for Holly. Please ask our Lord to send angels to comfort Holly and ease the pain and physical, emotional, and spiritual problems she is dealing with at this time. Please ask him to give her strength and courage and fill her with his healing light and love. Amen.

Hey everyone. Thank you so much for the prayers. I am slowly doing better.

I am going to try to get to Confession later this morning at the time for scheduled Confessions. Please pray that I would make a good Confession.

My breathing is doing better than it was doing so I think the antibiotics are working. My breathing is still bad but not as bad as it was.

Also, my digestive system is all messed up. I don’t know if the antibiotics caused it or what. I have been having diarrhea. I also got really nauseous yesterday morning and I knew I was going to throw up but I ended up having to force myself to throw up because my body wasn’t doing it on its own and I knew that throwing up was the only way to relieve the nausea. I have to do this every now and then but not much at all… a couple of times a year. Don’t worry, I don’t have an eating disorder. I only force myself to throw up if my stomach is bothering me incredibly bad and the only way to relieve it is by throwing up.

So anyway, I’d appreciate your continued prayers.

I love this one…I borrowed it from someone. Hope they don’t mind if I share it with you, Holly!

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in Thee.
Whatever may befall us, Lord, though dark the hour may be,
In all our woes, in all our joys, though naught but grief we see,
Oh Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in Thee. Amen

Hey everyone. Thanks for your prayers. I appreciate them.

That said, my breathing is still doing quite poorly today. I am taking a breathing treatment for an asthma attack right now and this asthma attack is somewhat severe.

I did make it to Mass this morning and I also went to Confession with Fr. Ray. In addition, I received the Anointing of the Sick from Fr. Ray because of my bad case of bronchitis. I am so glad that I received these sacraments. I am very happy that I am once again in a state of grace.

I have been having more pain than usual today as well. I am going to take some pain medicine here soon because its bothering me.

I think I also have another infection going on.

Anyway, I’d appreciate your continued prayers for my health. I am hoping I get over this bronchitis really soon.

Holly—we’ve started a prayer chain on here where all who join agree to pray every day for the intentions of all our Catholic Answers Forum brothers and sisters who need and/or ask for prayers. It can be as simple as 3 Hail Marys or perhaps 1 decade of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy–whatever your heart calls you to do and whatever fits it with your life. The thread was posted yesterday and I just wanted to extend a personal invitation to you to join if it interests you. Just imagine if we could get 50 members to pray daily for each other–or even 100!!!

Hey everyone. Thanks for the prayers. I appreciate them.

Thank you for the invitation Starrsmother. I will check it out sometime. I am going to bed shortly so it will be tomorrow when I check it out.

Anyway, I am really depressed tonight. My mental illnesses have been acting up severely and it has been affecting my behavior as well. I have even had suicidal thoughts. I am having them right now although I have no plan whatsoever to act on them. I promise that. However, I would greatly appreciate prayers for my mental health.

I have an appointment with my psychiatrist in the morning that I am going to. I would appreciate prayers for that as well. Please pray that we would be able to get my medicine adjusted in such a way so that I can be stable again as I am not mentally stable at this time.

My breathing is doing alright for now but its not as good as I’d like it to be. Nevertheless, its about as good as I could expect it to be while having bronchitis I think. I’d appreciate prayers for this.

And finally, I am having more shoulder pain again. I have been shrugging my shoulders too much because of anxiety and it is causing me more pain. Its not as bad as it was the last time I injured it but it definitely hurts. I would appreciate prayers for this as well.

Good night everyone.

Hey everyone. Thanks for the prayers. I appreciate them and I believe they are helping.

My sciatica just started flaring up a few minutes ago. Its causing some pretty bad pain in my legs but mostly my right leg.

My shoulder is still bothering me some too but not as bad as it was. I think your prayers are helping.

My depression is not as bad as it was even though I am still somewhat depressed. I feel like your prayers are helping me.

I would appreciate continued prayers. Thanks again everyone!
