Glorious Archangel Saint Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the medicine of God, I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of you the favour to aid Holly3278 with her health and the great grace of purity to prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Our Father. Hail Mary. Glory Be.

St. Raphael, of the glorious seven who stand before the throne of Him who lives and reigns, Angel of health, the Lord has filled your hand with balm from heaven to soothe or cure our pains. Heal or cure the victim of disease. And guide our steps when doubtful of our ways.

Hey everyone. First of all, thank you all so much for your prayers. I greatly appreciate them. I wish I could put into words how much I appreciate your prayers and am grateful for them but it would be difficult to put it in to words and so instead, I give all of you two thumbs up. 👍👍

That said, I am still sick. I was really wanting to go to Mass this weekend but I didn’t go yesterday evening because I hadn’t fasted for an hour and so I wouldn’t have been able to receive the Eucharist. I planned to go this morning instead. Well, I am having trouble breathing this morning and I am feeling weak and tired. I am also having some aches and pains and such. I talked with my spiritual director, Fr. Ray, a few minutes ago because I didn’t know for sure if I had a valid excuse to miss Mass. I was being very scrupulous in other words. He told me that since I am sick and everything that I can stay home if I need to. So, I am going to stay home today. Also, I might be contagious and I don’t want to get anyone sick. I really wanted to go to Mass but I think that in this case it would be best if I stayed home. Besides, with my breathing I could easily have an asthma attack due to the standing, kneeling, sitting activity that happens at Mass.

So like I said, my breathing is rather poor this morning. I woke up with difficulty breathing which has been happening every morning since I got sick. I took a breathing treatment but I don’t feel like it helped much. My breathing is not so poor that I need to go to the emergency room but I know that if I exert myself much that I will likely have an asthma attack. I’d appreciate prayers for my breathing.

I am also having some moderate to low level severe pain this morning. My shoulders are really achy and I’ve got pains in other areas of my body too. I’m sure its largely morning stiffness which goes along with Fibromyalgia but it hurts fairly badly anyway. I would appreciate prayers for my pain.

Other than the issues mentioned above I am also having a slight stomach ache and some other mild digestive issues. I do have Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (heartburn and acid reflux) so these issues aren’t surprising. They’re annoying and slightly uncomfortable but I just have to put up with it.I would also appreciate it if you would include the digestive issues in your prayers for me.

My mental health is not too great this morning either. I am rather depressed. I think that’s partly because I have to miss Mass this morning. I am also having some anxiety because of this illness. I would appreciate prayers for my mental health.

And one last thing, I would appreciate prayers for my spiritual health. I am having a few doubts here and there and I would appreciate prayers that my faith would be strengthened and the doubts would go away.

So anyway, I am going to stay home this morning. I am going to try to watch Mass on television sometime today which I know isn’t the same as going to Mass but I think it will help me feel a little better. I really wanted to receive the Eucharist but I can’t since I am too sick to go to Mass. I can do a Spiritual Communion though. 🙂 Thank you all for your prayers. I greatly appreciate them. 👍

Hey everyone. I am feeling scrupulous about missing Mass. I am afraid I am going to be committing a sin if I miss Mass. I want to go to Mass but I am sick and I am afraid I’d have an Asthma Attack if I went. Also, my breathing isn’t doing very well this morning. I know that the prudent thing to do would be to stay home but I am feeling guilty about it. I’d appreciate prayers for this issue.

Mother Mary, St. Joseph, St. Dymphna, please intercede for Holly. Please ask our Lord to send angels to comfort Holly and ease the pain and physical, emotional, and spiritual problems she is dealing with at this time. Mother, please ask the Lord to especially help with her asthma and bronchitis, her digestive problems, and the scrupulosity which now plagues her. Please ask him to give her strength and courage and fill her with his healing light and love. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God,
Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven.
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
Amen.

St. Michael the archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him we humbly pray.
And do thou oh Prince of the heavenly host.
By the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen

Hey everyone. Thank you for your prayers.

I am having a pretty bad headache right now. I woke up from a nap and had a nasty headache. I took an 800 mg Ibuprofen and some Claritin cause I think its sinus related. Please pray that this makes the headache go away. Thank you.

Thank you for your prayers Vim.

Anyway, I am feeling quite poorly today. My breathing is doing alright although still not as good as it should be.

I have also been having a lot of chills today. Its 82 degrees outside and I had to turn my heater on fairly high and I am still not as comfortable as I’d like to be. I am dry and everything. But, I am drinking cold Diet Mountain Dew so that may be making me a little cold. I have cold chills every day though but not usually like this. I do have them like this about once a week though.

I am also having a flare up of my Fibromyalgia. I am in significant pain right now. My pain level is a 8.

I think there is something wrong with the thumb on my left hand. The joint in the middle of my thumb (not the base) is stiff, a bit swollen, and quite sore.

Finally I want to mention that I am developing a sore throat and I have a slight headache which seems to be sinus related. I’m afraid I might be getting a sinus infection on top of the bronchitis.

I did make it to Mass yesterday morning. I started feeling better and so I went. I was so glad that I got to go. Anyway, please keep me in your prayers. I really appreciate it.

Hey everyone. Thank you for the prayers. I am feeling a lot better now than what I was feeling earlier at the time of my last post. I am having some pain but its not as bad as it was earlier today.

That said, I am experiencing increased temptation. I have not given in to temptation but I would appreciate prayers for strength in resisting any more temptations.

Hey everyone. I need prayers.

Today there is a higher risk for respiratory distress where I live. I just checked out the health forecast for respiratory distress and it is at a moderate level here. I am still dealing with Bronchitis and worse Asthma issues so this really concerns me. I’ll be staying in all day today just to stay safe.

Also, I am afraid I may have accidentally overdosed on Vitamin A. This also has me concerned.

In addition, I am having serious spiritual issues such as doubts. I am afraid I am in a state of mortal sin. Please pray for me.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession and was left forsaken. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, a sorrowful sinner. Despise not my words, O Mother of the Word, but in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen

Praying for all of your healing…

Hey everyone. I need prayers again. I am having a lot of trouble breathing tonight. I took a breathing treatment earlier but it didn’t help much. I don’t think I need to go to the emergency room but if it gets worse I will need to go.

Also, I am still having a lot of spiritual troubles. I am having a lot of doubts. I would really appreciate your prayers.

Hey everyone. In addition to the other problems I am now having severe ankle pain from time to time. I’m not sure what’s going on. It might be tendinitis. I know its occurring in both ankles though. I haven’t injured them as far as I am aware. I do have chronic foot problems though so that could be affecting my ankles.
