I need prayers because my health is declining

Dear Lord, during this trial,
I offer up to you my confusion
Give me clarity

Hey everyone. I have been having problems with the tip of my middle finger all day today. I am not sure what’s wrong with it. All I know is that it is quite sore when I type or press on something with it. Its hurting in the same area as the fracture I had years ago back in High School so I don’t know if it could be related to that or not. I would appreciate prayers for healing though.
 
I have congestive heart failure and have been given 1-2 years left to live. I couldn’t be more happy with myself than when I was in perfect health. I make daily mass (many times twice), say the rosary daily, and go to the adoration chapel for prayer and spiritual reading.

DO NOT BE AFRAID. Turn your health and everything else over to Jesus Christ and His mother Mary and sit back and thank Jesus for giving you your health problems as you should offer them up for your own sins, for the sins of the world, and for the Souls in Purgatory.

If you truly believe in Heaven, you should be looking forward to getting there sooner rather than later – especially given the state of our country and the world.

As Benedict Groeshel jokingly told an audience after he survived that very bad car accident, stop praying for me and sending me cards if it happens again. He said I am ready to go and I can cause you a lot more trouble from “up there” than from “down here”.

Just make sure your Soul is right with God and let His will be done not yours.

Are you able to get out much and be with other people-- or are you mostly home bound? I just wanted you to know that someone was thinking of you! Have a good day–and a good next week too!👍

Thanks Lamb! This is good advice! I do try to be joyful in the midst of my suffering but unfortunately it is difficult for me. I also struggle with mental illnesses and I think that part is what makes it so hard. I do offer up my sufferings very frequently though and I am very grateful that I can do this.

That said, I would appreciate some more prayers. I think my fibromyalgia is starting to flare up. I’m having pain on the left side of my neck and now also on my right side. I think its starting to spread to other parts of my body too.

Holly, thank you so much for your response. It really touched my heart. Just so you know, my first and only wife was named Holly (because she was born in December) and there has not been a day that goes by that I don’t think of her. I loved her that much, although I was foolish not to know and appreciate her at the time. I am going back 20 years.

God bless and remember you have NOTHING to fear or worry about. Every chance you get, just say Jesus “your will be done, not mine, and Mary, please intercede for me.” Remember to receive all of the Sacraments as often as possible. This includes Confession, Daily Mass (Communion), Anointing of the Sick, and Last Rites. And, of course, say and pray the Rosary every day.

Relax, do NOT be afraid. Just pray and think about how wonderful Heaven is going to be. This will bring you true peace on earth. And if there is anybody that you need to forgive, do so immediately so that the Father will forgive you. That’s just the “Our Father”.

PS: I attend the International Shrine of St. Jude every day for mass because he is the Saint of Hopeless Cases and that is me. He would be a good Saint for you to pray to as well.

Hey everyone. I think I have a sinus infection. I was alright this morning until I went out and they were mowing outside. I came back and all of a sudden my allergies hit me like a ton of bricks. I am feeling the facial pressure, ear aches, sore throat and the body aches. I have also had a cough lately. In addition, I am in some pain. I’d appreciate your prayers.
 
Hey everyone. I took my Claritin and Flonase and I feel much better now. My ear is still bothering me a little though. I think there is water in it.

Hey everyone. I could use some more prayers. My Asthma is acting up. I’m having an Asthma attack. I’m taking a breathing treatment with my nebulizer right now. Thank you for your prayers.
