Father in Heaven, we gratefully thank You and ask that You continue strengthening John in his time of affliction, revealing to him Your purest Agape, the crystal clear love which You Are, and which You reserve for him in unending supply, as You graciously refine and fortify him. Father, You lovingly allowed the testing of the Saints, who bore up under the trials of this world, and now praise Your Eternal Name without ceasing. Grant that John views Your Discipline of Love with the eyes of his heart, praising You and taking comfort in the only process that prepares him for an eternity of joy bathed in Your Heavenly Light. Merciful Lord, the prayers of the afflicted reach Your ears in total purity. Grant our brother John, named for Your Son’s beloved disciple, the fortitude to struggle on in the knowledge that You have prepared a reward that eclipses all of the pain and suffering of this entire world. You alone have surrounded him with loving and willing hearts who pray for him. Father, he thanks and praises Your Name even as we benefit from his prayer. Grant him, in Your exact time, relief and Heavenly comfort that perfectly reflect Your Agape. We ask this through our Risen Lord Jesus Christ, Who sits at Your Right Hand. Amen! Alleluia!
