I would like to ask you all can you tell me what it means when I see spirits I dont search for them they just apair.

Tell your health care professionals and Priest. We really should not be advising you, given we do not know your circumstances.

Hi. translucent you can see thru them the are the same size of a live person and white they did not give me any fear only one but I think she was perpusly wanting to scare me so I would DC leave the house and never come back. This house is wear her and her husband were murderd.

That sounds like an excellent idea due to what the OP just said.

It can mean angels, demons or delusions. It’s up to you to seek guidance in this matter. Start with Father.

Please see a psychiatrist.

I do go to a psychiatrist and they say they are hallucinations but I also have my beliefs in the soul and life after death in this body so then our soul leaves the body so cant these spirits be somebody’s soul? So that leaves me with confusion on what to believe. I dont see them anymore it was a time in my life when I was under a lot of stress.

That you should stay away from the liquor store. I don’t drink, but I know you find Spirits there.

Hi @Paradisejim,
As a person with a psychotic illness, this worries me. Do you have any strange beliefs or any other psychosis-related symptoms? If you are seeing spirits and they are actually spirits, you might want your priest to bless your home. Otherwise, this might be a sign of psychosis that’s starting.

My advice for you to see both a psychiatrist and see a priest and decide which is the best.

When a Catholic needs to see a therapist it is wise to see a Catholic therapist.

A Catholic therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist treats the whole person, others may not even believe in God or view him very differently than a Catholic.

Catholic therapists are very rare in most places I’ve lived. I finally found one once - he was terrible.

Definitely talk to a Priest - a devout one.

If you know for a fact that this man and woman were murdered in the house, it wouldn’t hurt to have a priest offer a Mass for the repose of their souls. I can’t speak to whether you are seeing ghosts or if it’s a delusion… but there are accounts in the Catholic tradition of people seeing souls in purgatory, sometimes at the location of their deaths as a reminder to have Masses said for their souls.

Sorry you had a bad experience with a Catholic therapist. I suppose it is better if they come highly recommended and are well known.
