I was taught to ask people still on earth to pray for you tho

The bible tells us that the prayers of the rightous are heard and answered before the prayers of those of us who are less rightous. Who can be more rightous than the saints in heaven who are with God and free of ALL sin? Compare that to us, where the bible tells us that even the most pious of us here on earth sins at LEAST seven times in one day.

If you can ask people here on earth to pray for you, why not ask the saints in heaven to do so as well? I would recommend Blessed Joseph de Veuster whose intercession was attributed to the healing of a tumor. I would also recommend St. Peregrine Laziosi who is official recognized as the patron saint of persons suffering from cancer and other serious diseases.

It would also be a good idea to pray to St. Rita of Cascia and St. Frances Xavier Cabrini who are the official patron Saints of Impossible causes.

And let’s not forget St. Jude Thaddeus, cousin of our Lord, who is officially the patron saint of Desperate causes.

its not like I wouldnt visit the catholic church sometimes but I miss my pentecostal church so bad here lately

If you don’t believe, and wish to join another Church (except for the fact that they treat you badfly you would still be there), you can not become Catholic, and receiving the Eucharist would give you no benefit. It would be a sacrilege.

if I was to believe the catholic church is the only correct church I would have to believe nearly everyone I have met in my life is going to hell since they are not a member of “the 1 true church”

before I go more insane I think I will just get the bishops thoughts on it and if he say yea i hope kinda to get a sorry from some of these people

Me thinks if he says yes he may not have the whole story. For instance that you want to receive the most Holy Eucharist to get healed of your cussing disorder so you can then go back to your protestant church?

You are trying to use the Catholic Church which was given by Jesus, Himself to be healed to go to a man-made church? How very sad.

You may be able to manipulate the priest or the Bishop (which I doubt), but you cannot manipulate Jesus Christ.

Then you are in disagreement with OFFICIAL Catholic Church teaching as found in Part 1, Section 2, Chapter 3, Article 9, Paragraph 3, SubSection 3, Heading 5, Paragraph 846 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church which states – "… ALL salvation comes from Christ the Head THROUGH the Church … " & " … Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is NECESSARY for salvation … "

If one knows about the Catholic Church and refuses to accept it, one can NOT achieve salvation. See Part 1, Section 2, Chapter 3, Article 9, Paragraph 3, SubSection 3, Heading 5, Paragraph 847 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church which states: " … Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience - those too may achieve eternal salvation … "

Jesus makes it very clear in Luke 12:47-48 that those who did not KNOW their master’s will and sinned, will receive a lesser beating. If God didn’t find us guilty for things we didn’t know anything about as you have stated, then they would not have received ANY beating because an all-just God would not punish those that He did not view as being guilty.

Obviously the Pentecostal is **Not **helping you or you would still be there!

I wrote you about my hiatus from the Catholic Church for many years and that pentecostal denomination was one of them that I was involved in, we have several here.

Here is prayer for you to repeat;

I think what JMC is trying to say and make a point is that our salvation is a daily exercise.
The OP is coming from a religion she was taught that it is a once saved happening.

no most of the churches I went to before this disorder did believe that you could lose your salvation
