I think I put my foot in my mouth

Well, I just have to give this update. These past few days ever since my manager and I had the talk, she has been REALLY considerate of me. She has given me work, thanked me and complemented me. I think I have managed to control my stress a bit better (but honestly, see I can’t see myself I am not 100% sure)

I have tried to thank her for her time and we do a bit more social talk. I still am trying to tread carefully and not over do it because I don’t want to be phony.

Well, the last time Lisa asked me for work, I said ‘You need to ask the manager’. The manager heard me and then asked me to show her how to do the work she got mad at me for giving her, I bite my tongue and co-operate on the outside.

Lisa only helps our department in the afternoon and has not been in the past 2 days. I did not ask so I don’t know if she is sick or helping else where. I did not think it appropriate to ask
