Please don’t hurt yourself hug There are more paths open to you, even if pain is supressing your sight. The best remedy is to get help from another, like a therapist or a confessor. Honestly, if I knew where you lived, I would seek you out myself.
Don’t think about the future: participate in your present, and let your future worry about itself. If you can help it, try not to be alone, even if you feel lonely in the mist of others. When you are in a more neutral mood, get rid of any pills, weapons, etc., so when in you start to break down it becomes harder to take action. You should go outside to parks, nature, etc., especially into the sunlight. Treat yourself to your favorite foods, activities, and other things: you deserve them
Listen to me: you are a son of God, a partaker in the Divine nature. If you can’t handle the cross God gives you, ask Him to help you lessen the load, be that through actually taking away your suffering, or by joining you in carrying your cross. Remember, it’s all right to ask the Father to take away the cup he has given you, even if He doesn’t do so: your Eldest Brother did so too in Gethsemane, and the Father sent an angel to help him. Ask your close friend, your guardian angel, for help!
Every time you feel like crying, most certainly do so.

You matter! I lost my son to an impulsive decision he made at the age of 27. He was enduring much suffering. Had he lived he would have come to know, just two weeks later, that he was to become a father. His son is almost five and growing up without him. Our lives and many others lives will never be the same with out Ed.

Your statement about telling someone outside of the Internet really struck a chord. It’s amazing how strangers from a Catholic forum provide more care and concern than people close to me.
Looking back on a post I made previously, I told someone, “When there’s clouds, as long as you keep longing for the light, there’s hope.” Guess I should follow my own advice.
I will attempt to seek counseling/therapy. I’m not very optimistic, but I’ll try…
