What do you do if it is a 3 or 4 hour drive to get to a TLM. I have just grown frustrated at the lack of, well, it is just ridiculous.

If it were me, I’d leave 41/2 hours ahead of time so I didn’t miss the Rosary:thumbsup:What do you do if it is a 3 or 4 hour drive to get to a TLM. I have just grown frustrated at the lack of, well, it is just ridiculous.
If every parish in a three or four hour radius of my house was sincerely indulging in grave abuse during Mass, I definitely would take the time to write to my Bishop. I think I would be sinning if I didn’t make my voice heard in the face of such widespread disaster. What do you do if it is a 3 or 4 hour drive to get to a TLM. You plan the trip. Get Monday off at work, go with a few interested friends, who can share the driving and expenses and go to an amazing, glad-you-went liturgy. What do you do if it is a 3 or 4 hour drive to get to a TLM. I have just grown frustrated at the lack of, well, it is just ridiculous.

Don’t feel low. The Mass is an occasion of thanksgiving in any form.OK, I give up, I feel lover than a whales ankle. I will go back again to church this weekend and suck it up.![]()
Just a thought…What do you do if it is a 3 or 4 hour drive to get to a TLM. I have just grown frustrated at the lack of, well, it is just ridiculous.
I guess I should have been more specific in my last post. What you are suggesting is exactly right. That is what Una Voce does. There are chapters around the country devoted to promoting the Mass and training Priests so they can provide the EF. If there’s not a chapter near you give some thought to starting one. Here is a link to their home page fe anyone who is interested in learning more.Just a thought…
Talk to some people in your parish/town/city and see if there are others who may be interested. Then approach your Pastor to see if he can help you find a priest who is capable of celebrating the EF. If your Pastor can’t help you, call the Diocese.
Remember, that you may not find anyone who shares your desires. The Pastor/Bishop must take that into account.
The one thing that will not help, is getting on the internet and complaining. If you want the EF, it is up to you to help get one started.
Good luck and peace be with you on your journey.
Contact your local Bishop, and in charity make your desire known:thumbsup:What do you do if it is a 3 or 4 hour drive to get to a TLM. I have just grown frustrated at the lack of, well, it is just ridiculous.
Going three to four hours out of your way to get to a mass seems extreme. I’m sorry you feel so frustratedWhat do you do if it is a 3 or 4 hour drive to get to a TLM. I have just grown frustrated at the lack of, well, it is just ridiculous.
