Tell me what was said. What were the circumstances whereby what you heard was determined by you to be an accusation?I was not offended by it.

Pretty obvious that hanging around here awhile has rubbed off on you. ha ha…
I would love it to be accused a Catholic. Sadly, all I get is being accused non-Catholic by Catholics![]()

Having been raised by very catholic parents who believed that God gave us a brain for a reason I would consider it a compliment.I was not offended by it.

My fellow brother JohnNc has posted that comment to me on other threads, and could never digest that comments full understanding until now!! What a revelation:thumbsup:It does not offend me. “I would rather drink blood with a Papist than wine with a Zwinglian”
not how i would like to be recognised as a catholicI was ‘accused’ by my pastor of being Catholic. He did not say it in a derogatory way at all, thus accused is in quotes. I’ve also been ‘accused’ of being a pastor a couple of times. I am kinda gently preachy, if not always in an explicitly Christian way at least in a Natural Law way. I took all instances as a compliment.
Now that you had some time to process it, how does it make you feel now?I was not offended by it.

In a conversation that was ultimately the beginning of the disintegration of my attempted marriage, my former MIL accused me of being Catholic. I was born and raised, but a very involved evangelical at the time. I took great offense to that, and told my husband so.I was not offended by it.
