Just think of it! Remarks of main pastor of the Catholic Church prompted mass protests from Muslims around the world. But it is so obvious that when the Catholic Church makes any comments it is addressed to the Catholic people first of all, because only they can understand each other rightly. No one would have dreamt of suspecting Benedict of linking Islam and terrorism, because the respect for any religion is a position of any civilized person in the world, except radical Muslims, of course. They try simply to force all Muslim Brothers believing that the West is hostile to everything Islamic. Thus, Muslims can’t advance dialogue for seeking paths of reconciliation and help people embrace difference. Muslims seized upon the words of 14th century Christian emperor who said that the Prophet Muhammad had brought the world only “evil and inhuman things”, but they ignored the words of Benedict XVI, who said that “lessons of the past must help us to avoid repeating the same mistakes”, that “any violence is incompatible with the nature of God and the nature of the soul”. So why has it attracted such criticism from the Muslim world? Maybe, they really do not want to learn living with respect for people of other religions and show us who the master of Earth’s house is. But frankly speaking, the other thing is maddening me in this case. I wonder why if Muslim leaders say in an open way about killing non believers of Muhammad, nobody reacts! And why on earth do they dare to meddle into Catholic life? Or are Muslims really becoming our managers?…
