The nursing programs at the community colleges in my area have a two-year waiting list so anyone who applies for admittance may have to wait up to two years to actually start the program. My mom works at one of these colleges as a nursing instructor and she was having a spot held for me so I could start this upcoming January. I didn’t think much of it until today she mentioned that it is against the law for the employees to hold spots open
. What makes me more important than the other students anyway right :tsktsk:? My mother is going to be very upset with me if I tell her I can’t let her hold that spot for me anymore because I am expecting a child and the financial burden is going to fall on my family.
BUT, this is wrong right? I can’t be “cutting others in line” just because I have a child to take care of.
