I just ran across this mention in a news article: “a pontifical paper calling for the establishment of a global political, economic and financial authority cultivated by the U.N.” When I googled to try to find the text of this pontifical paper, I hit a dead end. Can anyone help me out with this?

Do you have a link/reference for the news article? It could be real, or it could be a “New World Order” conspiracy nut piece. If the latter, then you are unlikely to find anything resembling the description given.

I just googled that phrase, and it lead me to WND.com.

WND is very much in the business of conspiracy theories. I find that they take truths, put them together, and then analyze them to come up with the worst possible scenario.
