If alien life is real, did Jesus die on their planet also?

Hypothetically speaking, if alien life exists, would that also mean Jesus came to their planet and was crucified there to save them also? In addition, does that mean Jesus established a Catholic Church there also well with Apostles and such? Could they have their own form of the Bible?

All of this happened on Earth with the human population. If there is alien life, why would they not be in the image and likeness of God too? And if they were, then wouldn’t Jesus come to save them also?

Or perhaps - there was no original sin there and not needing Jesus to save them. Maybe their version of Adam and Eve never committed original sin and thus not needing saving?

Jesus came and saved the human race through His death and resurrection. He did not save all the other alien species races across the Universe I presume because if so, why come just to Earth and not some random planet 1 billion light years away?

We simply don’t know. God has revealed to us the plan for our salvation. Not anyone else’s.

Angels and demons are a form of aliens from beyond planet earth. Jesus didn’t save the sinful demons. They will be separated from God forever.

If aliens are sapient like us, and have a rational soul, it is not necessary to believe that they have fallen. The fall of Adam and Eve effected only humans. If the aliens haven’t fallen, then there would be no need for Jesus to die to redeem them. If they have, then it’s possible that Jesus died to save them, or their particular redemption happened in a different way than ours.

I’m fact, CS Lewis write a sci-fi book about it, Called Out Of The Solent Planet, where Mars is populated with many species who have not fallen. It interesting to see what life may have been like if we’d never fallen…

Some day we will go out there.
The question could be too, why didn’t Christ die among the Chinese too?
The answer, then, could be that he did die for them too, as they came to find out.

You state that you are a Catholic.

Haven’t you heard about God’s creation of the angels, and that they were given a test, and one-third of them, headed by Lucifer, said they would not serve the Lord. They made their choice in spite of seeing in advance what the outcome would be. They are the fallen angels, (devils).

I like all of your post except one line:.
If they have, then it’s possible that Jesus died to save them
Is this possible? Are you saying Gid the Son became 8ncarnate in their planet and redeemed them the same way as us? Or that Jesus died here and redeemed humans and the fallen aliens?

Either option seems to directly contradict Church teaching.

Mostly that Jesus could have redeemed them on their planet as he redeemed us.

Which Church teaching does this contradict? I know of no teaching that says definitively that there’s no intelligent life in the universe besides us.

God the Son has two nature’s: divine and human. That seems to eliminate the possibility of Him having 3, 9, 55, or a million nature’s. He has 2.

I was very specific about the part of your post I disagreed with. Very specific. It us unjust to misrepresent my position after I was so careful to be precise.

Chill out, I meant no offense. And you specially said

So I merely asked which teaching this contradicted. I genuinely didn’t know you were talking about Jesus having two and only two natures.

Jesus has two natures that we know of. Having two natures is already a miracle, so it could equally be a miracle to have more. But who knows? This is all speculative anyway.

I realize you meant no offense. Besides the point.

Where does the Catechism say that Jesus has “at least 2 natures”?

What I mean is, the church says Jesus has two natures because there’s no reason to believe otherwise. Either way, the incarnation is a miracle. Having two natures is miracle. I see no reason that, if having two natures is a miracle, having more wouldnt also be possible through miracle. Perhaps there’s a metaphysical argument that explains why, but if there is one, I’m not aware of it.

In the last book of the Bible, Jesus appears as a Lamb who has already been slain (Revelation 5:6).

Quite possibly, it’s not possible for Jesus, Son of God, to die for any other race than the human race.

Perelandra is perhaps closer to this storyline.

If God made aliens, He would’ve told Moses when he was writing the book of Genesis, and Moses would’ve left us a hint.
