Oh no!! Don’t get abcdefg started on these animals again!!
He has a thing about animals, does he?

I had a fundamentalist preacher tell me that all the evidence we see of ancient species going extinct was due was due to the Flood. Before I thought I said, “That’s blasphmey. The Bible tells us God Himself took special measures to ensure all species survived the Flood by having Noah take them into the Ark.”

I have no idea what you’re trying to say
Why Bible make Adam appears to have lived much longer than Moses while in “fact” no so? What’s the purpose of God here?

I wouldn’t pretend to read God’s mind but I did list 3 points in post # 198 where knowledge of the absolute value of their ages is not important.

Why Bible make earth appears to be flat, have waters “above” and “below” the earth, with windows, doors, gates, and stories of stairs, while in “fact” no so? What’s the purpose of God here?

I know they will keep coming since many people have problems with the topic…even after our 13.7 trillion posts. The topic that would not leave.

But God isn’t the source of misunderstanding.

since evolution theory and creationism involves interpretation of scripture, it’s a theological question. the one which is wrong has Satanic influence, and which one do you think has? and why Satan does it that way?

It only shows evolution is spread through administrative means not scientific means

This isn’t a bivalent argument. By your understanding, the earth being flat was Satanic in origin until we figured out that it wasn’t true.

Evolutionary theory (at its core) is not really a theological question. It has to do with natural laws, laws that aren’t open to “interpretation”. They are either true or not true, there really isn’t an in-between.

Aside from the numerous posts citing scientific data and explanations coupled with a complete lack of creation science being able to stick a single argument, yeah, you’re right.

Earth is flat has never been a theological teaching. you probably can do some search and the result is null.

If you think the formation of human body isn’t open to interpretation then Apostolic Tradition teaching of Creationism is open to discuss? how Darwinism came into being?

1st point: You’re right, bad choice of analogy. My point was that Satan doesn’t really factor into this discussion. Even if Creationism is true, evolution doesn’t necessarily = Satan. And vice versa applies. You would have to provide some evidence that makes it seem that Satan played a part.

2nd point: I’m not sure what you are saying, so if you could rephrase it that would be appreciated. The formation of the human body, at least why or who, is a theological question. The how, isn’t. A scientist finding out that humans came through evolution dosesn’t say a thing about God, only how man came into being.

Whether earth is flat or round doesn’t affect the interpretation of Bible.

evolutionists say the formation of human body is a natural process. without any touch from God (if God lays his hands on the job, one couldn’t find the correct the origin through physics anyway, they sure know this)

1st point: I already said, bad analogy on my part, but my point still stands.

2nd point: evolutionists don’t say anything about God (either for or against) they merely say how man’s human body was formed (his flesh). God could’ve used evolution to create man’s body, how do you know that He didn’t?

God wants a relation with humans as close as possible. the closest way is taking some lifeless material like dust and directly turn into to a man. this shows every aspect of man is directly designed by Him, without his SPECIAL effort, man wouldn’t exist. apes turn into human through a natural process and doesn’t his special effort. the relation, thus, isn’t as close

In your opinion, perhaps, but I don’t believe that your personal feelings on how God should act have any bearing on how he actually did it. I personally don’t think I’m any less special because God used evolution to create me/humanity.

you’re as special as me because whether you admit or not, God created humans directly both your and my ancestors — Adam and Eve.

you may wish to state in the other way, but the conclusion is the same “you’re as special as me”

No good Christian/Jew/Muslim can ever discover evolution.
Why God forbids the faithful to discover truth? and have this truth  revealed by an atheist/agnostic?

one can be a faithful and discover newtonian law, theory of relativity. but never evolution

He did. He just took billions of years to do it.
For an eternal transcendent being how is this any less “direct” then saying “Aacazam, you’re a human”?

Why/ how would evolution preclude a special process? I’m sorry but I’ve never been able to understand this objection.

The subtle beauty of the process is amazing…very special IMOH

There was a time when if you wanted to have light at night, you had to build a fire. Now, you just flip a switch.

How did that happen? We studied God’s universe, learned the rules he built into it and created things like electric generators, light bulbs, and many other things. We still study it, still learn, and still develop new inventions based on His rules.

Yet somehow, our method of study which works so well in designing things from light bulbs to computers, doesn’t work when we study how life evolved.

It is a puzzlement.http://forums.catholic-questions.org/images/icons/icon12.gif
