Is that a challenge? So in other words -you don’t know for a fact that anyone ever actually muttered those exact words outside of mere probability.

If gays cannot marry, shouldn’t divorce, adultery, and fornication be illegal?Keeping prostitution illegal is an infringement on ones “individual freedoms”. If we are truly secular, and laws are based solely on “rights”, then there should only be laws regarding the use of safe-sex practices in regards to legalized prostitution, right…?
Is this what we can expect in the name of progress?

Yes, of course they should -but without physical punishment. When the State calls something illegal, that means it is not an approved activity, but we don’t really need to punish for everything that is illegal, just as we don’t need to legalize everything that we don’t want to punish for.If gays cannot marry, shouldn’t divorce, adultery, and fornication be illegal?
I disagree. The issue of gay marriage is the issue that Obama, Biden, Pelosi, and the state governments are negotiating. Nobodys talking about the issue of the homosexual “act”. But if they were, the church would give her opinion.I think it’s the exact opposite. Society has sanctions against highly immoral acts - child abusers get sent to prison, and in most countries prostitution is also held to be sufficiently immoral that it’s illegal.
Logically then, the anti-gay rights camp should be arguing for the homosexual act to be criminalized if they believe it’s so immoral. But instead by only arguing against gay marriage they send the confused message that the homosexual act isn’t immoral enough that society needs to stop it going on, and isn’t moral enough for society to acknowledge that it goes on. Out of sight out of mind, don’t ask don’t tell.
What we might call an insipid, limp wristed, net curtain morality.![]()
My wife couldn’t get pregnant for 13 years after our second child… We’ve recently had two more.Couples that were incapable of getting pregnant were getting married long before there was birth control.
So prostitutes shouldn’t be allowed to work for pimps at all, or you mean women just wouldn’t want to work for pimps? We’re not talking about whether the overall number of prostitutes would go down.
We were talking about whether the number of prostitutes controlled by pimps on the streets would change if we introduced brothels.
TEPO:Interesting but not practical considering that children need a “set” of parents their entire life. It’s all about the family unit ya know.![]()
No, I totally knew that. I honestly did crack a smile after I read it…TEPO:
It was an exaggeration, a/k/a, a joke. Please don’t take it seriously. I don’t think you did, but just in case.
God bless,

No, especially against divorce. There are situations in which one is better off going it alone than remaining misrible and married. Ideally it would be nice if our society progressed to a point where divorce were considered unnecessary. I think making it illegal without addressing the problems that make it at times desired would be ignoring some some significant problems and potentially cruel to some.If gays cannot marry, shouldn’t divorce, adultery, and fornication be illegal?
The answer would be “YES” to going up.We’re not talking about whether the overall number of prostitutes would go down.

That’s what elected politicians do, they were born to negotiate.I disagree. The issue of gay marriage is the issue that Obama, Biden, Pelosi, and the state governments are negotiating. Nobodys talking about the issue of the homosexual “act”. But if they were, the church would give her opinion.
And who’s to say that 2 men and a woman can’t be married? Or a dog and a human?Keeping prostitution illegal is an infringement on ones “individual freedoms”. If we are truly secular, and laws are based solely on “rights”, then there should only be laws regarding the use of safe-sex practices in regards to legalized prostitution, right…?

I don’t see why not, actually. It would save a lot of trouble in this life if people went into their marriages knowing that they would have to stick with that person forever, no matter what.If gays cannot marry, shouldn’t divorce, adultery, and fornication be illegal?
Discrimination against ones chosen lifestyle, intolerance, infringent of ones individual rights… According to the “progressive”, these types of injustices must come to an end -in every single case no matter what.I don’t see how you are trying to correlate gay marriage and prostitution.
Exactly. Who are we to invade someone’s freedom of choice to live their own chosen lifestyle… Thats just “discrimination”…!And who’s to say that 2 men and a woman can’t be married? Or a dog and a human?
Pay attention to the sexual revolution of the 1960’s. It is ALL about that.I don’t see how you are trying to correlate gay marriage and prostitution.
