In other words, you are saying that we CAN CHANGE THE FUTURE right?
The outcome is only determined AFTER you determine it. God observes that decision in advance, but it is still your decision.Since the outcome is already determined this means there is fate and destiny right?
The thing with free will is that you are ultimately responsible for your choices. God knows the future, He does not will your future, as He respects your free will. Your salvation is contingent on you choosing to respond to God’s grace. So you will be condemned only if you choose to reject God’s grace. it’s not God’s will at work, it’s your free will at work.If the future states that I am destined to be a bad guy there is no point in trying my best to become a good guy anymore right?
In other words, you are saying that the future is not fixed. There is no fixed destiny and we can change our future. Different decisions lead to different future.it’s not God’s will at work, it’s your free will at work.
Is that like when your gps says “recalculating…” when you take a route outside it’s preset route? However God’s will is a gift to us since with His knowledge He creates an outline for each of us. Over time God updates His will for us as we use our free will.
In other words, you are saying that the future can change based on our decision. What if Peter did not deny Jesus 3 times before the rooster crow? No. The outcome is known . It is not predetermined .
Being a good guy does not get you to HeavenIf the future states that I am destined to be a bad guy there is no point in trying my best to become a good guy anymore right?
Obviously tha is what free will is all about; for us that change of heart is possible inside of time. When we die our soul enters eternity where there is no past or future just an eternal present. So there is no more time to make choices in eternity. There is no fixed destiny and we can change our future. Different decisions lead to different future.
