Furthermore, why would God make Himself known to certain people and not others? It is easy to believe if one has actually experienced a miracle. This means that certain people have a much easier time of believing than others: they have proof.

You imply that we should all have exactly the same opportunities to believe. Do you really think that is possible?

There is no such thing as **absolute proof **of an event. Many of the saints have been tempted to believe their visions and mystical experiences were dreams or hallucinations.

Many people do have an easier time of believing than others but they also have greater obligations. There is always a price to pay for what we receive. We cannot have everything for nothing…
