If I find Mass boring I will find Heaven the same?

Having a daily prayer habit in order to deepen one’s prayer life helps much.

In Holy Mass many things are done and said by the priest that we should be listening to and pondering.

We can make free will efforts to play close attention. It is normal to have distractions during your prayer times and at Mass, but bringing yourself back to the presence of God and what is happening is all you need to do. Then you are choosing God over the distraction.

Don’t get discouraged that is a tool of the evil one.

Become acquainted with a good bible study at your parish; and good spiritual books help a lot as well.

In time, the Holy Spirit will grant us many blessings and a better understanding of the gift of the Mass.

Dante’s Inferno does have a bunch of pits in the Eight Circle of Hell. Dante has a poetic language and stanza format in his work. There is a difference of style between his works and this passage. I remember reading this in the Saint’s diary.

Perhaps you should figure out why you think it is boring… Seriously. What is it that makes it boring for you, and draws other people to it on a daily basis? 🤔

In Heaven, we will have the beatific vision, so we will know and understand God a lot more. We will love Him completely. On earth, our human nature is flawed and hindered by sin so it’s harder to know God. That’s why some have trouble with the mass. It takes faith to love the mass. When we have faith in the mass, we have faith in the Real Presence.

If this world is filled with seemingly endless beauty that God made and called good, and which also appeals to man even after our fall, then I can’t help but believe that heaven will appeal to our renewed selves and we will be deeply satisfied.

I think you misunderstand. I’m concerned that anyone who finds mass boring will find Heaven boring. My problem is that Heaven could be exactly the same as Mass. Mass is only boring for me when it goes too long.

Non-sequitur. If you find mass boring, it is unlikely you will be in heaven.

What is heaven anyway? It is to be in God’s presence, which what happens at the mass.

Sanctimonius church goers abound on CAF, I notice. They sound like the Prots who think they’ve been guaranteed a seat in Heaven already.
Hey, you better be careful whom you call ‘Prots’. Wonder whether the term is allowed in CAF. The last I know, posters should not use such a term.

I think it’s really difficult to imagine heaven and what it would actually feel like. I do sometimes feel like this, not so much the being bored but sometimes I just feel lazy and antisocial and the thought of endless worshipping makes me just want to curl up in my PJs with ice cream.

Blessings
You might ask yourself, why you are bored?
Their is head knowledge of Christianity/Catholicism and heart knowledge. Many of us were raised in Catholic Church and continue to go by Habit. We live a pattern. That is head knowledge.
Heart knowledge is being Born Again. It’s an Epiphany in your life. It starts the love affair,w God, that He desires. Song of Solomon—Sensual! Why a Book in the Bible? To show us the passion God has for His children. Mass is our date w God. We’re praying Psalms, Epistles, snd Gospels. What message is there for you that day? The Word of God is living water. The words and stories are set. But, one day, the words mean one thing. Another day, the same words have a different meaning for your Spirit.
The music is to elevate us,in our prayers, closer to GOD. Some Sundays, I cry w the beauty of the message. Taking communion is precious. The warm feeling from the wine, continues after ingestion to a warm feeling from the Holy Spirit enveloping my Spirit.
If you don’t have any of those feelings while at mass, ask God to reveal Himself to you. Go to a Bible study or RCIA Courses. They are great teaching classes and refresh a believer in some areas we may not have known to travel.

“The theological virtues are the foundation of Christian moral activity; they animate it and give it its special character. They inform and give life to all the moral virtues. They are infused by God into the souls of the faithful to make them capable of acting as his children and of meriting eternal life. They are the pledge of the presence and action of the Holy Spirit in the faculties of the human being. There are three theological virtues: faith, hope, and charity.”

EDIT: I am assuming that you are fairly young. If that is the case, and even if not, then strive to understand what is actually happening at the mass! I did not for years - but when that time came, it was profound.

If mass is boring, then that person has no idea what they celebrate. Our Lord cannot be present to them. Boredom is rejection at some level, is it not? Mass should bring tears. Heaven cannot be boring - only ignorance can be boring.

Why are we even having this conversation? Learn what on earth and in heaven we celebrate at the mass!

“Because you are neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth”

Sobering revelation.

Does no one today ponder anything more profound than a DVD or Instagram?

As we mature spiritually, The length of time or frequency we spend in worshipping God begins to absorb us.
