Josephus said this about the survival of the crucifixion:
āAnd when I was sent by Titus Caesar with Cerealins, and a thousand horsemen, to a certain village called Thecoa, in order to know whether it were a place fit for a camp, as I came back, I saw many captives crucified, and remembered three of them as my former acquaintance. I was very sorry at this in my mind, and went with tears in my eyes to Titus, and told him of them; so he immediately commanded them to be taken down, and to have the greatest care taken of them, in order to their recovery; yet two of them died under the physicianās hands, while the third recovered.ā
Even with urgent medical attention, only one survived.
Do you expect me to believe that some Aloe was supposed to heal Jesus wounds?
He had six trials in which he was beaten. He wore a crown of thorns. The purple robe could have additionally torn open his wounds. To quote CARM apologetics on the crucifixion:
āThe arms are pulled apart and nails driven through the wrist into a cross beam which is raised in place. This dislocates the shoulders. The nails in the wrists sever the median nerve resulting in a burning pain as well as paralysis in the hand. To breathe Jesus had to press up on the nails in His feet, scraping His raw back on the wood. The body gradually drains of blood causing the heart to beat faster and faster. Dehydration is occurring. The breathing becomes more labored and intense as well as frequent adding to the agony. The blood loss results in extreme thirst as the body craves water to restore the lost blood. Jesus said, āI thirstā (John 19:28). The heart beats so hard trying to compensate for the loss of oxygen (due to the lack of blood) in the body, that it eventually ruptures. At this point the chest cavity fills with fluid. The soldier pierced Jesusā side and out came blood and water, signifying that the heart had stopped beating and the blood was settling in the chest cavity. Jesus was dead.ā
In his burial, Jesus had to be very tightly wrapped. (Even when Lazurus rose, he had to be helped out of his burial clothes -John 12:44)
And what of the massive stone and the guards? There were rumors that the disciples would come and steal the corpse. In Roman society, if the guardās prisoner escaped, the guard would have to take the place of the prisoner!
If you consider the horrible crucifixion, the extreme rarity that anyone would ever survive the crucifixion, and the fact that the Romans had to make sure Jesus was dead, you must come to your senses. Sorry, but considering the fact that youāre saying someone can survive a crucifixion with some aloe and then appear alive again, getting past guards, Iād say youāre the one who is being naive, and that your mentality is scary.

ONE survived. That is evidence enough that it IS possible for one to survive crucifixion. Joseph of Arimathea was a wealthy man so we can not say for sure that there was not someone brought in under cover to help aid in the recovery. ALOE: HULLO!!!
It is not like I am basing this on absolutely no evidences. OPEN YOUR EYES!!! The resurrection story of a godman is Hellenistic; it originated in Egypt, was adopted by Greece and absorbed by the Romans: TA-DA! Up springs the Roman Catholic Church. There IS a reason they do not want you to know the Scriptures. YOu have mindsā¦ USE THEM!!!
